In atlanta there is no pop or soda. Only Coke. I came from Portland and used soda, and people didn't even know what I was talking about. There is only Coke. FYI. Atlanta is the headquarters of Coke Cola.

Chris,

I really dig you guys on 11 o'clock comics. I have also started listening to the drunken nonsense on around comics and enjoy that as well. The drink rollcall is my favorite part of 11 o'clock! Vince B needs to expand his horizons. I get it, he likes beer. Me too. Branch out and try a porter or stout. I kid because I love.

I heard your recent comment on the regional usage of the term "pop" vs "soda" and for your enjoyment I present the following link that presents a geographic breakdown of that terminology:

http://popvssoda.com:2998/

I was born and raised in San Diego. My mom is from Wisconsin. She taught us to say "pop" like our relatives in Michigan. Folks in SD tend to say "soda". However the family of a good childhood friend of mine called all carbonated drinks "cokes" whether or not it was in fact a Coke (r) or not.
