Elektra Assassin blew my mind but it was hard to get into at first. The omnibus are not meant to stay in print forever. They are usually more of a limited edition type of thing like in the book market that gives way to the in print trades.

Yeah, but look at the Wolverine Omni. that thing has been around for a little while.  I know Wolvy has more mass market appeal, but the omniboo crowd should be the same.  Anyway I want a Miller DD omni.

The moment that stands out is the acting of Olivia Burnette, who played Sam's sister -- when Sam played "Imagine" for her and she went from amazed wonder to devastated heart-break within the length of the song without saying a word...powerful stuff.

Just got mine!  I wasn't going to but Barnes and Noble sent me a 15% off coupon so I went ahead and pulled the trigger.  It was like $65 after everything was said and done.  Then I went to see the movie.  Can't wait to compare!!

Just dawned on me that QUANTUM LEAP is on streaming... ...even though I have them on DVD, it's nice to know they're at my finger tips regardless of where I am.   

My favorite episodes are the ones were Sam jumps into his own body as a child.  And then the next episode he jumps into his brothers friend during Nam.  I'll put those two episodes up against anything else on tv

Just got done with Elektra Omnibus.  Overall it was a great read.  I loved "Elektra Lives Again".  I liked "Elektra Assassin" a lot less though.  There just wasn't enough Elektra in it.  She was more of a background force of nature than a star in her own book.  Eventually I stopped caring about Garret, Chastity, and the rest of SHIELD.  Luckily the Omnibus ends with "Lives Again". I was able to walk away with a good reading experience.  



What's up with the hardcover Miller DD omnibus'?  Why are they OOP?  Obviously there is a demand for it.  I want my matching DD Omniboo to sit next to Elektra.

Overall, I liked it.  I'm on the fence about the personality changes.  I'm interested in West coast Marvel enough to keep buying for a couple more issues, but it better get super good in a hurry.
