3d in general is lame. Except for Avatar, and Jack-ass I haven't seen anything I liked. Last Air Bender being the worst of them.
I saw Thor in 2d and thought it was great. I thought it looked like LOTR on acid!
With the Avengers Movie closer to a reality, what story obstacle do you think Joss Whedon will have to overcome? Any other hurdles you see for this francise?

Moonknight- Bendis: It wasn't as bad as those preview pages made it out to be. Bendis only tried the "double speak" trick once. I'm still on the fence on whether I like his new multiple personalities or not. It feels gimmicky. Maleev did an OK job. The idea of exploring Marvel West Coast appeals to me so I'm going to give a few more issues. If it doesn't wow me by 3 or 4 then I'm out.

I recently just switched to a portfolio and loose leaf paper system. I gave my sketchbook to an artist and they didn't have time to do my comission in time. Long story short, I was only able to get one sketch during that con. Lesson learned, don't put all your eggs in one sketchbook.

I did the same thing. I don't think I've had a more shocking experience than watching the old TMNT cartoons again. How could my memories be that off? At least the modern cartoon was better.
Also He-Man and Thundercats

I saw a clip of the Thor game on G4. Movie games usually suck but this one looks good, from what I could tell. Written by Matt Fraction so that will help.
Any predictions?
Oh yeah and the new Spider-man game looks dope! They took my advice and cut the Noir and Ultimate parts out of "Shattered".

Well here we are three years later and I have to say that John's is not at that same buzz level that he was then. Is he overrated now?
I read the first 8 issues of the recent Flash, and that was great. I've stayed away post-blackest night and the current event, so I can't judge the rest of his work.

I've tried to watch through Avatar several time now and I never make it more then 5 or 6 episodes without getting bored and moving on to something else. I don't find it bad but it doesn't offer me anything that makes it stand out from other children's shows. Adventure Time blows it out of the water.
Once they give each elemetal tribe, group, society established it really takes off. And then Aang and the gang tour the world, some adventures are one-offs, and some adventures tie into the mythos as a whole. Finally in the last season everything comes to a head with a kick ass finale. Maybe you should try it again only skip half of the first season, you've already watched most of it anyway

I 100% agree. As I was crafting my last response, I just kept thinking, "Once again, this all comes down to how problematic the direct market is." Hey Jason-In the episode that focused on Disney buying Marvel, you said something about Disney having enough pull to ask Walmart where and how to stock their items. So why isn't Marvel taking advantage of that situation and getting more age appropriate comics into Walmarts?

I started to fall off the Miller bandwagon at around the end of Sin City ("To hell and back" I think?) I'm not a fan of his looser stuff. So going in I didn't think I would like it.
The spirit was horrible. I took some non-comics friends to it, and was embarrassed when we left.
