Bean and I were walking around Chicago before C2E2 started and found the John Byrne Omnibus for 50 bucks.....we were giddy...made the statement that we found the bargain of the Con even before it started. I walked into the con Friday morning and, within minutes, walked right intoa copy for 40!! GRRRRRRRRRR

There are 4 more DTVs greenlit so far that haven't been announced yet. You'll probably here about the next one (maybe?) at SDCC.

Has the recent activity all over Facebook that "Judas Contract" is the next in line been confirmed?

Completely agree. I love how different Sarah is from the soccer mom. And I sometimes forget that the scientist version is the same actress. A big part of my enjoyment of the show is the excellent performance of the lead actress.

I really hope it gets picked up for season 2.

Its already been announced that we get a Season 2!!

I agree with Bendis about how every character is someone's favorite, so it's best not to mess them up when you work on them.

What!!?? Bendis is SO full of crap! He messes with every character that I love and then laughs about it online and when he's being interviewed!

Yeah but Rios should let other people fight their battles. He made the situation worse by trying to climb on a soap box about it, and he did it in a really smug way that came across pretty badly. When it comes to twitter and boards, whenever I see someone try to talk as tough as possible and prove they have the biggest balls in the room, I automatically think it's the opposite. If you have such beef with someone, tell them yourself in a private way if it's actually a matter that concerns you. But he wouldn't have been able to be Captain SaveAHo in that case, so it's off the table.

It's a stupid situation either way, I shouldn't have wasted any brain space following it. John's initial act that caused it was out of line (another case of that guy just not knowing when to shut up - and I genuinely like the guys podcast.) and Peter shouldn't have gone this route in trying to tell him it was fucked up. IMO.

I know them both and like and respect them both. Mistakes were made on both sides but I have to fall on Team Rios here. I would hope that my friends would defend me, privately or publicly when they see me being harrassed.
And I do LOVE Siuntres!! He has always been incredible to me so Im not slamming
him at all.

Me too.   It's kinda sad.    I have no Horse in this race, but I will always wish for a Pants/Murd spin-off.    They are both 100% quality and I don't think they know how good they are at what they do.

I posted on PR's site that I think it started out as satire but it went on WAY too long and turned into mockery. As someone who has been mocked, teased and bullied in my youth merely for being who I am, its often the acts and comments that arent meant or even acknowledged to be hurtful that remain with us forever and hurt the most. Imagine being the subject of this and having to sit and hear yourself being discussed like that?

We did extra bad this year (though I was able to come up with a couple of clutch answers, like the name of Tony Stark's cousin).  Most importantly, though, the audience had fun, so I consider the panel a success.

It was my first time at the trivia thing.....LOVED it!

Woohoo!!! C2E2 talk!! I cant wait to get to this episode!!

I just wanted to chime in and say how much fun I had last weekend. I had a pretty light haul, but that's no reflection of the experience I had. I finished up my 12 Angry Men jam, bought a couple mini-paintings from Katie Cook for my wife, and purchased the three current issues from King Bone Press. My only regrets are that I didn't stay out for the duration Thursday night and my inability to be two places at once on Saturday. Even though I attended last year and thought I knew what to expect, my expectations were exceeded nonetheless.  

Getting to know you better this year, Cam, was one of MY highlights!! (And don't worry.....I won't repeat "the saying"...even though I want to!!)

I too have been pretty thrown off by C2E2 these past couple days. I regret not having the time/making the effort to spend more time with forumites. I'm a newb and wasn't exactly sure how to jump in. I'll have to plan to come in early/stay late for the meetups next year.

PLEASE do! Our family is a great one and we love new people! remember, we were ALL newbies once!

Another after effect of C2E2.....I cant sleep. I work midnights and should be asleep but crashed after getting home last night. Im going to be a crabby bitch all night now!
