Got these two on the way in the mail which makes the choice easy.

Post York #1, by James Romberger and Crosby (Uncivilized Books)
Annie Sullivan and the Trials of Helen Keller, by Joseph Lambert (Center for Cartoon Studies/Disney Hyperion)

Also keen to read these.

Hilda and the Midnight Giant, by Luke Pearson (Nobrow)
Our Bloodstained Roof, by Ryan Andrews
Cruisin’ with the Hound, by Spain (Fantagraphics)

Highly recommend Theremin that came out today.
I'm trying to be mildly picky with my Monkeybrain purchases after buying everything up until a few weeks ago.
Hard not to get anything with art by Dalton Rose who is quickly becoming a favourite of mine. Theremin might be the best stuff I've seen by him.
I'm not a very big fan of historical figures in comic books and fiction but Theremin balanced history and fiction nicely.

If you missed the 1st 3 sold-out issues of Copra, you can get them all in one compendium here:
http://michelfiffe.com/?p=3975

There is also a Zero issue of Zegas available from Fiffe:

Thanks Bob!
Picked up Zegas #0. Have you had a chance to check out Zegas?
5  Forums / The Bullpen / Re: What comic book podcasts do you listen to? on: 06:04 PM | Tuesday, April 02, 2013
good man! hopefully when we get the C Box up and running again we can get you on an episode.

and hopefully you checked out the Splash Page 2013 special from a few months back.

That'd be exciting being on an episode of the Chemical Box. I imagine the combination of Alec, you and I would be great or a temperamental disaster.

Enjoyed Splash Page 2013 a lot, it'd be nice to get another one this year.

7  Forums / The Bullpen / Re: What comic book podcasts do you listen to? on: 10:04 PM | Monday, April 01, 2013
I check in with Comic Books Are Burning In Hell depending on the topic, and i have been meaning to check out Jim Rugg's podcast Tell Me Something I Don't Know but just haven't had the time.

I echo Dean S.'s sentiment, i have just enjoyed comics a lot more since i scaled back a bit and stopped listening to people constantly talking about them.

Highly recommend Tell Me Something I Don't Know, all the interviews are good, I'd start with an interview with someone you're interested in and maybe just listen that way. Gary Groth's recent interview was a good listen, Eric Skillman as well.

Less comic podcast definitely improve enjoyment of comics, also finding less comics have the same effect.

What I listen to regularly:

Comic Books Are Burning In Hell
Decompressed (depending on the interview subject)
iFanboy Pick Of The Week
The Ink Panthers (not really a comics podcast)
Inkstuds (depending on the interview subject)
Make It Then Tell Everybody
Sidebar
Tell Me Something I Don't Know
Wait, What?
11 O'Clock Comics

Podcasts that come out irregularly

The Chemical Box
Comix Claptrap
The Splash Page (almost time for the 2014 special)

Drop

Hellboy/B.P.R.D./etc - Potentially moving to collections for some of this and probably will still pick up series depending on the artist, people like James Harren.
Action Comics - Out with Morrison. Nearly finished with DC, 1 issue of Joe Kubert Presents and 4 of Batman Inc with nothing else on the horizon.
Fantastic/FF - Hard dropping an Allred book but I'll go read Madman: The Oddity Odyssey or pick FF up on the cheap when I get the Allred itch.

A lot of mediocre to great stuff, probably just need a break from some of these series/creators.

The last few days of reading

Building Stories
Los Angeles Ink Stains
The Infinite Wait
The Eternals vol. 1
Fanny and Romeo
21st Century Boys vol. 1
also a few singles

Discovered a small pile of unread single issues on the weekend which I'll tackle after my Trade Regina, after that there is digital which will be a hefty load of impulse buys. Potentially will still get everything read this month.
13  Forums / The Bullpen / Re: Sharing Digital Comic Redemption Codes on: 04:03 AM | Wednesday, March 06, 2013
Damnit! I keep trying this code but the Marvel site is having issues! I really want this but need to figure this out before someone else snags it!

Could be time sensitive. Wednesday is nearly over here in Australia and starting in the US.
I'll delete my previous comment to minimize people taking it before you.

Got sucked in by the foil cover.
15  Forums / The Bullpen / Re: Sullivan's Sluggers (Kickstarter) on: 05:03 PM | Sunday, March 03, 2013
Anyone out there have experience sending books overseas from the US?
I used to get things regularly from the US but apart from mini comics I haven't been getting much recently.
Last year I got a couple of orders from Secret Acres which were solid but relatively small boxes(5+ trades, 10+ minis, etc), those were costing $40-50 to get sent to Australia.
A couple years ago when I was getting stuff from DCBS I found that they could get around $100+ for larger orders and smaller ones weren't much cheaper.
From what I've been reading smaller/letter size packages will be impacted upon most when sent internationally.
Haven't contacted Michel Fiffe yet to see if postage increased between Copra 3 and 4. Should receive a month of Oily comics soon which will be interesting, in the past this was around $2 postage.
Initially I found the US price postage price increases depressing but now it'll make me more selective with purchases.
Also it seems like the pricing with be similar to what it has been for years sending stuff to the US.
Sorry for the long windedness.

Still haven't received Sullivan's, don't really expect it for a while.

So much Kirby goodness.

Overflow from last years reading challenge and generally making up for lost time with my relatively recent discovery(about 4 years ago) and love of 70s Kirby.

I've read 20 trades/gns and probably 30-50 singles issues.
Didn't get through as much of my Regina Pile as I had hoped. Got back into going to the library which slowed me down a bit.
Its my weekend at the moment so I'll get through a few more and to plan to continue through March with the goal of getting through everything.

Lex can rock it like nobody's biz... http://jasenlex.com/comic-books/

One of the most unique voices working today.  Rock Horns

Thanks. The preview pages for Bottom Feeders look great.
Time to dig up Popgun and Project: Superior.
Seeing a larger dose of Lex's work makes him stick out in my mind, instantly I knew which story and what he added to mix for the Twisted Dragon Funnies.
