Just watched it...I was enjoying it as a character study and satire on modern Japanese media and such and then was totally thrown for a loop by that ending.  I'd be interested in hearing your theories, Michael, if you happen to read this thread.  My theory, if you want to call it that, is that

well, me too! In Brussels, I went to their comic museum, which showcased TinTin, the Smurfs (called Stroumfs, i think) and others. Blacksad was in their gift shop. Disappointed to see that the Dark Horse Blacksad Hard Cover has been pushed back to June.

I'm lucky to have bought the BDs, so that I don't have to wait on awesomeness to make it to the printer!

It sucks, but at least they finished the arc. Now there's nothing else to do, then wait for a new series or look for the older series and minis.

Edit: The reason? Bad sales numbers, I guess.

Is 16gb enough? I have no idea how much space apps or digital comics would take up (not having an iPod Touch or iPhone, it's all new to me). I was hoping to get the 32gb.

I'd spend the money more wisely and buy a (external) hard drive for your computer to save the comics on. You can buy a 1Tb large hard drive for 99 bucks, which is the cost of buying the extra 16gb for your Ipad.

The comics itself, well, I don't know how much space a legal digital copy from a publisher or Long Box will need, but I can't imagine that the size is that much bigger than the illegal counterpoint.
