I can dig it. I've always been fascinated by deep open ocean (there is nothing on this planet more enticing and more frightening to me) and the things held therein. That's why Blue Planet was MY JAM! Have you seen it? There is this one section that will stick with me forever where there is this dead whale on the ocean floor, and the doc sticks with it to show the various creatures eat away at the carcass until nothing is left. It's haunting and fascinating.

Holy crap that sounds terrifying. Like Dahmer's acid jar child experiments. I am so not okay with biology in liquids coming apart, with little floaty things-- shit.

Change topic.

In your travels: read American Flagg. I finally got into it via the image collections. I've always been a Chaykin guy, and finally i'm reading his masterpiece. Bought it off ebay and it turned out the seller was our very own Malpractice! Small world.

Great episode!

End transmission.

Okay, from now on I think you've earned the right to call it an "S. Earl."

I just realized I'm pulling a New Mutant.

So many ways to mess with this.  Roll On Floor Laughing

So, apropos to the thread, the wife just dropped off a slew of cupcakes & donuts at my work. This was the only decorated one of the bunch.

It's really hard to pick my favorite Muppet, but CM is definitely one of my favorites.

HA!! Epic!!

Boom! Just finished My Friend Dahmer yesterday.
Entertained the idea that if I were to be on this EOC, I would talk about Derf. Weird.
Can't wait to listen!

I had to fast forward on this talk. It was too late/early, sleep was already elusive, and the stars were aligned just right to creep me the ufck out.  Cry

Felt the need to share! Really liking the redevelopment of my sense of action placement in panels. Lots of old muscles coming back to life!

I joined the forum because of that post. I thought it was amazing a forum was making a comic together. I lurked for a bit before then but his post prompted me to join.

Karma for that!

Do I know you? Misty is cleverly retconned in MT-U #64 to have had a first appearance in Marvel Team-Up #1!:

Here's that page from MT-U #1 that was said to have been Misty (thanks, Dave!):

The continuity freak in me leapt for joy to hear this unfold "live"!!

WE'LL HAVE TO SHARPEN OUR SKILLS TO MATCH THIS KIND OF DAVE K. ACUITY IN HIS ABSENCE!

I'll see ya on Twitter Dave!!

Every one who I've ever heard use the comeback "Is that what the kids are calling it thse days?" has done it TO PERFECTION!  LA Rabbit is the latest and greatest-- referring to Colleen Wing and Iron Fist spending the night in a cabin 'meditating.'

More reMind books will be going out on Monday.

I was at the "packing party" today.  We packed up the US deliveries of v2 w/slipcase, v1+v2 set, "Phobos" level, and people who ordered 2 copies of v2 before I had to leave at 4:30pm.   Man, it takes a long time to do all the collating of stuff.....unpacking the books, doing a quality check on them, getting the signature plates pasted into the books, assembling the packs w/postcards & wristband, etc.   Jason was autographing stuff & doing little Victuals sketches for the levels that included these.

There will be a couple of carloads of stuff to bring to the post office.   Another couple of these will be needs to get everything done.

PS: On the plus side, I got to take mine home with me  Whistle

Oh that's cool!? I didn't know you were this involved with a Kickstarter! Yeah, I imagine some of the high-end Kickstarters can be nightmarish without help. You can get bunches of money, but that only means having to get bunches of product out.  That's a benefit the Big Business companies do without blinking. Warehousing, shipping rates, print discounts ... there's something to be said for it.

But Bob, how'd they get your (and others') help? Did they put a call out on their Kickstarter page?

No flashy colors, notes taken more from a spider, better camouflage, except for a bright white spider symbol of the chest like the black costume. Spikes on the arms like 2099 spidey.

SO SMART.  I love the DESIGN of what you do around your art!! You are so for real!

Nice. He's a lot creepier now that he's spider-colored. Or is that just my arachnophobia kickin' in?

That's sooooo much better than her current togs.  Yes

I didn't know you could drop a smilie gif in from other resources! And also EUW!!

Thanks to Slurmo!

Just getting this crap out of my head. I wanted a more Captain Britain flavor to Cap, but this is really rough and the garishness is less classic and more 90's Image imitation.

I may keep banging my head at this wall. Tongue

Mickey and Devilhand!! What are you guys coloring with? #LUSH
