Haven't had a chance to use the iMessage, I don't know anybody with iOS5 to chat with  How does that work anyway? Do you just type in their number? I'll have to play with it when I upgrade my wife's 3GS. Too bad I switched to Android, I won't be able to iMessage my wife. |

I know what a lot of you folks are doing this weekend and I sooooo wish I could join you. Have fun at NYCC guys!  I have a ton of camera gear to sell off so I'll be going through it all this weekend and preparing the online listings. Boring boring boring but hopefully it results in money money money. I might go to the city if the sun comes out, I need sunlight. |

Still annoying that Apple's servers couldn't handle the release, but perhaps not too surprising.
Agreed. The demand for it must've been something insane. There's a heck of a lot more iOS devices now than there was for the last major update. I'll update either tonight or this weekend. How do you like iOS 5? |

Superman Returns had its issues, but I adored the half modern/half classic art deco look that movie gave Metropolis.
It was shot in Sydney and I recognise a lot of the locations. The car scene with Parker Posey was shot in Martin Place where I used to work. Whenever I'd come to work in the morning I thought to myself "Superman was here" so I have nothing but love for that movie. In those terms, I think the movie ending for Watchmen is a LOT better. Not that I'm gonna start giving Alan Moore a hard time for his writing but talk about a convoluted ending to Wathcmen.
I agree that the movie ending makes more sense (and the guys that made the movie should be commended for making that change) but the comic book ending didn't confuse me. I read it as an adult though (only a few years ago) and not as a kid. If I read it when I was younger I could see it confusing me. That said, it's not like I can tell you word for word exactly what happened. It's one of those things that made sense while I was reading it but I don't recall every single detail about it. I've been meaning to reread it to pinpoint what was confusing about it. |

I can't believe how quickly this episode went. It's gonna be a long 7 or so days until the next episode The podcast without Vince is like the Fantastic Four without Suzie... still a lot of fun but nowhere near as sexy  Have fun this weekend dudes! |

Damn... Thanks (and karma) for the heads up. I wanted to do it this morning before going to work but I woke up late and didn't have time. I guess it's good that I didn't. I think most of our stuff is backed up but it'd still be a bit of a hassle having to deal with that. |
