So after 5 years of wanting a Brandon Graham page, I finally ordered one. Der. Only took a cheap deal to move me; sometimes I'm too damn cheap for my own good. On the plus side, it has a panel the encompasses all I love about Brandon's work. I'll post when I finally get it in my grubby hands.

Glad to see Annie Sullivan and the Trials of Helen Keller, by Joseph Lambert, nominated. What an amazing piece of work. A standout in the use of the comic medium.
Now to see how many of the books I didn't read the library has...

I find this new Sullivan's Sluggers extension to be repugnant.
I don't really get it - how is he not just selling existing inventory? That's not allowed according to their rules. Shrug. Must be a loophole.

Only 4 Backwardz editions left......
Nobody has gone for the "Ryan Browne's Face" edition yet......
I love Ryan's silly incentives -- can't argue the effectiveness.

I really liked the first issue. 2 and 3 are enroute. There was a great fight scene in the first issue and the story was intriguing. Oh and great art, obv.

I'm on board. Dug the concept and art.
Also check out the Black River 1-shot from 215 ink that Brisson wrote. It's great.

I'm also considering just taking any of the softcover TPBs and either selling them (if they are redundant with single issues I have) or sticking them in a long box. Reserving shelf space for HCs only, with the possible exception of my Cerebus "phone books".
My new system is to keep only the "best" stuff on the shelves, and sell or box the rest.

True. When I see stuff on IST that I want & it's not $50 worth for free shipping, I just send an e-mail to DCBS customer service & ask them to toss it in my next box that they're mailing me anyway & bill it to my credit card they have on file.
You can also find them on the site under "Trade Paperbacks"

yeah, I do order some trades through DCBS (especially the ones I know I'm going to get regardless), but I'm still catching up on older trades too (where In-Stock comes in handy!)
You can order older trades on DCBS too, they just put them in your next shipment.

I skipped the $50 HC, but got the SDCC limited TPB of Mysterymen (signed by Burden) for $25. I also just tossed in an extra $100 for the statue...... I have a weakness for 3-D representations of favorite characters.
Yeah, I have it, it's nice. What the heck, here it is with it's friends
