Start Home Binding comics as gifts for friends.
Hang out more at C2E2 (some work related BS that came up mid Friday put me in a bum mood and I didn't hang out as much after the show as I would have liked).
Get my Home Binding tutorial up and running.

I agree with all of your votes for under appriciated Silver/Bronze Age Artists. I would like to throw the name Kerry Gammill onto the list. I never thought that he got the props that he deserved. His OHOTMU pages are incredible.

Finished up a couple of projects this weekend. Airboy Vol 1 and 2 (of 3) and Bizarre Adventures Vol 1 and 2. Both came out really well. Bizarre Adventures is my first shot at a magazine sized bind. It offered a few challenges. It has been one of my dream binds. Bean

I know some people don't like the term Happy Holidays, but I have always embraced it. We have a number of different beliefs on this board (Christian, Jewish, Agnostic, Buddhist, Atheist, etc) but all (or at least almost all) of us are open to the thoughts and beliefs of the rest of the community. O.K. time to get off the soap box. Please post your favorite comic related holiday images (no hot linking!). Here is one of mine (I may post more). From John Byrne's last issue of the X-Men (143). Kitty Vs. a very Giger-esque Demon. Please post more. Bean

I know this will be blasphemy to some Hunter Rose purists but I honestly think the Christine Spar/Devil's Legacy arc is the strongest of all the Grendel stories. Those of you who know me, know that I love all things Wagner, but if I had to choose a favorite Grendel run, I would pick War Child. The Pandor Brothers work is awesome, but very 80s (not bad, just dated and I was right there for the whole thing). Personally, I prefer the Bernie Mirault art from the issues that followed. Ultimately, its a Sophie's choice.... I love them all. I am just happy that I have a John K Snyder page from Grendel Vol 2. Bean

parks, sunny and christmas vacation. and red dawn i tried watching weeds and I couldnt make it more than 4 episodes. it wasnt very good imo. the acting was pretty cringeworthy. I have had a mad crush on Mary-Louise Parker for years, but the characters are hard to like. This can be O.K. in certain situations (see Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, It's Always Sunny... etc.), it makes it tough to get through the seasons. Bean

I really hope the arrest reports start coming in. Death threats aren't funny, snarky nor should they be treated lightly. This kind of behavior needs to stop.

Sent mine out a little while ago. Hope it makes it by Xmas. Never heard from the person who was supposed to be my giver...I even contacted them and everything.... Oh well...better to give than receive I guess.... Mario, send me your address and I will put something together for you. it may include beer, but it won't make it before Christmas. Bean

Dave Wyndorf set me and my buddy Sam up nicely to see the Monster Magnet show at The Trocadero in Philly last night. It was an amazing show and I got to hear my all time favorite Magnet song - "Lord 13" - kick off the encores! Dave - thank you so much! You rock in many ways! We have to work on getting Brother Dave out to C2E2 next year. That would make it all the more awesome! Here are Dave (looking all cool) and myself (looking not as) backstage after the show. I agree about C2E2. i would love to sit down and talk comics with Dave. I have not seen Monster Magnet in probably 15 or 16 years so it would be nice to see them also. Bean
