You don't know me. You don't know how much gay activism I do or don't do. You don't know how many of my close friends are gay. So judging/condemning my comments without that knowledge is a little much.

And as far as mistreatment? Insulting me on two different subjects in the same post is a pretty good way to do that. I'm sorry my 30 second rant on being tired of character deaths was too much for you.

My point asshole, is that I'm more sensitive to gay rights than the average person. It's something important to me and to large number of my friends. I wanted that to be very clear when I mentioned the Orson Card thing. OSC has his right to say what his faith and beliefs lead him to say. That shouldn't restrict his ability to work. Just like a pro-gay rights statement shouldn't lead to someone's dismissal. I think the screams for his firing have gone too far. If you don't like what he says, don't buy his books.

I would say the same thing to you regarding this show. If you don't like what I say, stop listening.

And take this as a last warning. If you treat me or anyone else on this forum with that kind of BS attitude again I will ban you.

To clear up something Chris said Pelecanos wrote a bunch of the Wire, he only wrote like 8-9 episodes total of the entire 5 season series. He was a producer on two seasons.

Joe Kubert was a master storyteller.
Darwyn Cooke is a master cartoonist.

Those are examples of how I tend to think of and classify some artists. They all have bits and pieces of those disciplines, but some are stronger facets than others.
