Mike Trout is the guy Oakland stuck out THRICE last night! ... and then he hit a home run. Still a W! I hate the Angels, so you can imagine what it takes for me to say this... Mike Trout is probably the best player in MLB right now. And he just turned 21.

Man Chris, sorry to hear about the pooch. As a fellow dog owner (2 now), I know your pain. Double whammies like that are brutal. But sounds like you're a responsible dad. Good on you! Seeing Parker FREAK OUT at the beach is something I'll never be able to forget. It doesn't equal the panic that a parent would have for a child, but it's pretty damn close.

I feel terrible about nodding off at the end.
It's been a pretty exhausting week. Parker has been keeping us up at night, and I don't think I've had a good nights sleep in about a week now.
Sorry guy.

Conventions want to sell tickets.
Period.
Cosplayers buy tickets, so it won't be deterred.
Anything beyond a handgun or hunting rifles should be illegal with minimum jail time for offenders. People will say there's no difference between owning a 9 mil handgun and an assault rifle, but there is.

Chris said that Anthony Bourdain is an "accomplished chef"... My question is what has he accomplished as a chef? He is a TV personality. I am not saying he is evil. I'm not saying he may not be a cool guy to hang with. But I have no idea why people give him credit for being a successful chef. [rant over] The Tiki Totally get what you're saying, and agree with it. I was trying to be careful of describing him, and was The guy is a respected food critic, and I think that's more of where his fame comes from, rather than being a chef. BUT, as Ryan pointed out, he has made his way around a kitchen or two in his time. I just love the guys attitude and desire to experience life around the world. AND he's a comics fan.

I LOVE working out with Kettlebells.
My company sells them by the ton. Literally.
So the Primal living is doing the job. I'm down almost 30 lbs and ready to drop below 200 lbs for the first time since I was in High School. I want to drop another 15ish by the end of the year. If I can hit a lean 185 I'll be thrilled.

I thought he'd be more upset about the new Superman villain. He's a fat, loudmouth radio host who got his job because Daddy owned a radio station in SE Missouri. I do like the ending though. The fat ass piece of human waste gets addicted to drugs and dies with a two foot cigar in his rectum.

Honest to God, Chris is the first person I've ever heard of that claims to actually like that Rogue beer. It's easily one of the worst beers I've ever had. Pretty bottle aside!
I had just opened it up, and it was... not what I expected. I was great on the nose, but didn't deliver the rich thickness I wanted it to after that. I didn't hate it, but I don't think I'll be dropping $14 for a bottle again.

Got a shout out from Chris!
The key to the arguement is simple. If Batman and Spider-man swapped cities who would do better? Clearly Spidey would as he doesn't need all the money that Bruce has to stop crime. Also the super strength and Spider senses give him the edge with his Rogues.
Spidey would be dead within 12 hours if he were Gotham's protector.
