i did have the same thing happen to me last year. i ordered a commission of a character the artist wasnt familiar with. i had seen other work he did the entire weekend and felt mine wasnt up to par. i decided there wasnt anything i could do about it and never framed it.

I opened HSX Scarecrow's yesterday and I was as giddy as a schoolgirl at a Justin Beiber concert.  I received Hopeless, Stephen King's Dark Tower vol 1 and Who is Jake Ellis... Which is a book I have been eyeballing for some time now.

you know, i havent heard from the regular group i go to these things with. Id love to crash along with some 11oclockers this year if they dont call.

i honestly think its going to be Hickman. If i recall, he is the only writer on the avengers/xmen event that isnt currently tied to one of those books, the end of that event would be right around the time bendis is leaving avengers, so it would be a perfect time for him to pick it up. I also think he stated in a wordballoon that he is nearing the end of the outline he originally had for FF. I could be wrong on that part though.

I'm not sure McKelvie does commissions anymore since he's gone all digital.

ive actually been trying to get a mckelvie commission for about two years now. i send him a message on twitter on occassion to see if he is available and thus far he hasnt been...

at this point they could draw a picture of themselves drawing the picture of themselves and id be happy!

If you want ANY form of a Cheung commission, you need to be infront of his table within the next 24 hrs or you won't have a chance in hell again this year.

no they are not. if you attempt this you may spend up to $500 on a plumber as well as needing a replacement disposal in your sink. I would try a shredder.

I just got an iPad (thank you work) and I need to know the best way to read comics on it. I have a bunch of cbr and cbz files. Should I convert them to PDF and use iBooks or is there a better reader?
