Glad to hear they're still working on that series. I really enjoyed the first two.
Its been written for a while. Creator Owned stuff always take a backseat to paying gigs. I saw chucks been posting pages on twitter. I loved the first two as well.

I wish I knew what happened with Rick Spears. Teenagers From Mars is one of my favorite comics to lend to my non comic reading friends and always a hit with them. I'd love to see more work from him. I follow him on twitter but don't get a great sense of what he is up to.
He's done two volumes of Black Metal with Chuck BB through Oni. Third one is on the way. I met him And Chuck at NYCC in 2011. We had a brief chat about Darkthrone and he gave me a free poster. He's written other books too. I just can't recall them right now.

This has broken my brain. Toms work was one of the first things the EOC fMily got me into. He's a huge reason why i chose to make comics. Seeing him make his stuff and not care appealed to me and gave me the confidence to do my thing.
I hope its temporary but i hope he knows i support him no matter what he decides.

Art and Franco have a nice back catalogue of creator owned kids books.
Anything Chris "Eliohouse" Eliopoulos does is kid friendly.
James Kochalka has a ton of kid frinsdly comics. Johnny Boo, Dragon Puncher are ones i can think of now.
Top Shelf comics has a robust Kids line. Should be more than enough to keep the wee ones happy.
The other Chris Eliopoulos has a few kid friendly collections from Marvel.
Chris Giarusso's G-Man is kid friendly. As is his mini Marvels.
Mighty Skull army by Jacob Chabot might be ok for kids. I dont recall anything overtly adult in it.
Atomic Robo is good for kids too.
I'm really into all ages comics and am gonna pass them along to my neice.

I understand the whole sticking up for your pals thing. John made those comments in like August of last year. So it seems kinda weird to drag them up now. I'm no fan of John WB, in fact that episode turned me off WB and AW.
It all seems just a little odd.

I hope they can continue in some form. They won't be able to come back strong right away as these people need to find jobs first.

I never read the articles. I was a huge fan of their Comics Everybody and Best Art Ever features.
Sims has already moved the Podcast to his personal site.

Moving from a dye-based to a pigment-based marker can make the marks archival but the solvents are less practical for getting signatures (high contact angle, slow drying) and the pigment particles are often too large and inert to adhere well to a glossy surface. Just be sure to test any sharpie alternative. Late response, I know. Maybe thats it. The difference is the surface.

Both. I had a bunch hanging on my wall for a while but not in sunlight of course. Didn't have any issues.
Huh thats really weird. Thanks for the input Chris and Bob. The art i have has been in a box for years and it turned a weird green color.

he new episode, hide, was delightful. it goes one way; all spooky and scooby-doo-like, then zags into another; adventure-y and gooey. i loved the parallels between alec and the doctor. doc's like 'been there, done that!'. or clara's 'we're all ghosts to you'. wow. i also liked her problems with the tardis. it was cute.
one question though, how did doc recognize who the time-traveller was? was it just because she was a 'historical' time traveller?
-mike
Im sure he filtered the photo in the TARDIS. Timelord google is the best google.

I'm with Christopher.....over how much time (or under what conditions)?
I have comics signed in the 90s with sharpies that still look the same.
Hmm interesting are they stored in boxes or on display? I have some art thats discolored over time.

Hi, folks ! I'm new here on the forum, although I already know a bunch of you guys from twitter (formerly @rjw1213, now @raywegnerart). I listen to EOC every week and I finally got off my butt and joined the forum. I'm an artist from the south suburbs of Chicago, and I'll be at c2e2 next weekend so hopefully I'll get to meet some of you in person !
Welcome aboard buddy (its MatNixon from twitter)
