I think I saw that if you bought a Retina iPad in the last month they'll let you exchange it
I just bought an iPad 3 to replace the one whose screen I shattered. Hmmmm....worth looking into if they'll switch it out. Thanks for the heads up.

Unrelated story: Was bending over to pick up a dropped cord last night and my iPad 3 slid from my hand, slid on the carpet and tapped the corner of the table leg, shattering the screen! I was dumbstruck, the iPad fell from no higher than a foot and a half off of the ground. $300 later (half the cost of the original) I have a new iPad and decided to get the Applecare this time. Now I can smash it two more times!

This photo is a little old, I am just about out of room since I got The Wally Wood and Groo Artist Editions. I have serious shelf envy!

I'm right there with you on Sandman. I even foolishly bought the Absolutes thinking that would enhance my experience. Nope. It is just not for me. I also never finished The Nightly News. I like other Hickman stuff but the Nightly News just couldn't keep me. I have a copy of Absolute Sandman Vol. 2 for sale if someone wants it for cheap.

Never read Love and Rockets. Didn't read Hellboy until the Library editions came out. LOVE them. Also never read Usagi yojimbo until the big hardcover slipcase set. Bought that and loved it too.

Doug just came and did an assembly at the school where I teach. He did a sketch for me in my sketchbook! He was really interesting and funny. I will think hard on this one...
