Agreed. From what I recall, he was on time with his Red Robin assignments, and then he moved over to the Huntress. I feel like his style is a more exaggerated Jamal Igle (but obviously not as good yet). Unless they put him on some horrible character (like Green Arrow), I'd probably buy the book just for his art.
You stop talking bad about Ollie

I can't wait to see Sgt. Rock drawn as large as a Panzer tank, while his sidekicks are drawn like Peter Dinklage. The man has never heard of perspective. I had to chuckle at his comments. Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't get Nick Spencer. At. All. Nick Spencer is a hit or miss writer to me. I like his Thunder Agents and Morning Glories but His Irom Nan 2.0 was a snore fest to me.

I think when you have to fire alot of your staff and on top of that you duble the work load on staff you have left this type of stuff will come up and this in industry wide it just shines more brightly if its one of the big two.. Jamal Igle was DC exclusive since 2005 and I think he was not proper utilized. I know a few comic artists personally that are a project away from being homeless every month.

This might very well be the case. Regardless, what strikes me as odd is that OMAC is one of the most critically praised of the 52 new titles (it even showed up in the recent A.V. Club article on all-ages comics), and it is still being cancelled instead of titles like Voodoo (which is, if anything, the opposite).
I think they knew Voodoo would not be a high selling book because it focuses on a lesser known character and a female character which also doesnt usually sell well. I think it will get a year.

I know you're kinda joking, but in all seriousness....the reason why I enjoy this forum is that I don't find that many nitwits around here. That's not to say that everyone is agreeing about everything, but I think the avg IQ on this board is higher than normal. Arguing with stupid people is just awful.
I think both boards have value and for the most part there are people who are posters of both

No problem with you posting it Darrell. I just know from doing this for so long that when you post any thread about another show (and yes, Super Show is created by, connected to, and for CGS. That's why it's called CGSSS) what ends up happening is that show will eventually get slammed in one way or another. I don't want a thread where the opportunity to talk about another show in bad light exists. My feelings, and some truths: Most of us have listened to and enjoyed CGS. Many of us know each other because of that show. There is NO competition or harsh feelings between CGS & 11 O'Clock in ANY way. I sincerely hope CGSSS returns in the future, but more importantly I hope Bryan's life finds a comfortable level again. With that said, please keep any discussions here limited to the Super Show and not your feelings about another show or their message board. Let's all talk about some comics and/or skyrim now When I posted it thats all I was talking about just the loss of the con itself. Im a subscriber of both shows.

Yeah, I'm not sure how these 2 survived. I agree that there is zero need for 2 Legion books.
All 6 books cancelled were ones I decided to drop after the 1st issue, so no great surprise to me on the choices, though.
On the new titles, I hope they don't replicate the mistake they made with Men of War on GI Combat. They need to make a "real" war book if they're going to do a war title. Get the creators to read a Kanigher / Kubert war book to see how it's supposed to be done.
I'll be checking out all 6 new titles, but I learned my lesson with the "new 52", I'll pre-order #1 and not beyond that. I had way too many titles pre-ordered thru #3 via DCBS sight unseen that I ended up not even reading #2 & #3. All the cancelled titles made it into that category, except I think I actually read Static Shock #2 (but not #3).
I agree with you on the Men Of War I think it should not have put in the meta human angle into this and kept it a wWar or military book.

Quoted for truth.
People interested in the CGS show are already reading about this on their forum.
There are plenty of people on both forums that are interested in knowing. The reasons behind it are not in this thread but does it hurt to just let people know?

I had a chance to chat with him for awhile at the signing yesterday and it sounds like they're doing pretty good on planning for time. He said, issue 3 is done, 4 is pretty much done. He is committed to getting it out on time and they are working in guest artists occasionally to ensure they have enough time. I think Mitch said issue 5 or 6 uses a guest artist, and then he's back the issue after. This is filling my Queen & Country itch, so I am all in. For some reason I was thinking this was a mini or series of minis but it is actually ongoing which sounds perfect to me. Sounds like these guys are really busting it to ensure it is accurate, on time, and a lot of fun. Highly recommended if you're into espionage/special ops type stories.
Mitch and Nathan are good people I hope it gets a chance in this crazy comic market.

Way to neutral Darrell. This is the internet. You're supposed to get fired up and angry over this, use lots of capitals and swear to leave over shit like this. Haven't you been paying attention to message boards for years. Travis I know but I dont have the energy or Im getting old and feeble. There is just no reason for any of us to fight. Most of us are members of a bunch of comic boards. Its ok to like more than one just like we can like indy and mainstream books. And we can like different podcasts too.

time out I didnt mean to step on toes or cause a one message board is better than another because all of that is so childish and petty. Supa Show is a comic con that people who dont even listen to CGS or podcasts in general go to because It has one common factor and thats the love of comics. This is not my message board so if i broke a rule I apologize. I enjoy 11 oclock ,CGS,Around Comics, and many other podcasts because I love comics and whether you agree with their opinions or not they all have people on those mic's that love comics too. Every message board has people who are negative and people who are positive. I think of Supa Show as a comic con even though its run by another podcast.Other podcasts have tables there as well so its not just a CGS joint. But again this is not my board im just glad to be able to be a member.
