The website looks great can't wait to start Danger Country. I highly recommend the first issue of the Study Group magazine, well worth the cover price.
Danger Country is wonderful. It's like POWR MASTRS before it took a sheet of acid and was never quite the same afterwards.

Am I the only one who donates and doesn't think of the tax incentives? I'm not knocking the idea at all because you'll probably get a better return than selling them but I just have always felt I don't need money back from giving stuff to those who need it.
I don't donate for an incentive. I donate tons of things all year round (to Goodwill, teen mom shelters, political causes, etc.) and I'm freaking poor. I need any tax break I can get. Why throw money away? And I have a feeling if comics are tax valued, it's probably based on cover price or less.
I believe donated goods are supposed to be 'fair market value.'

We're watching and loving the BBC series The Trip with Steve Coogan. I'm glad I discovered it was a series before I watched the edited-down theatrical release that's coming out over here.

To Let - A Spanish horror film that is part of a 6-film package that Brian Yuzna distributed in the U.S. I meant to watch The Baby's Room, but all these package films have the same icon on Netflix and I was already invested by the time I realized my mistake. A completely ludicrous (even for a horror film) concept for a plot that's very well executed. Quite fun. EDIT: Watched The Baby's Room and it was a better fit for my tastes (high on creepiness and concept).

Your leaving out David Warner's best role: the bad guy in Time Bandits. Human pincushion for the win!
We used to have a thread called "Calling all apologists" or sumpin' like that where I professed my profound love for David Warner. The Company of Wolves and The Man with Two Brains are a couple of my favorites of his. Also, I see he was the voice of Ra's al Ghul in the Batman cartoon!

"That Mustafa is some kind of something. Boy, this Mustafa is all anybody's ever talking about. So sick and tired of hearing about how brilliant that Mustafa is. Overrated."
The glitter queen struck again. Never hire Tobias Funke.

Luke Cage: I like the choice, and I dont care how "big" the actor is so long as he is "bulletproof" in the movie. They went with a comedian (based on his old spice commercials) so hopefully that will lend Luke some charisma... he is no Spidey in the comics but is funny here and there. Only prob? The trailer stinks of MADE FOR TV.
That's because it's not real. It might have been produced by the actor. Mustafa has been very vocal about wanting to play Cage in the planned Marvel film. This is better than sending Marvel a headshot and in an envelope filled with glitter. http://www.slashfilm.com/iasiah-mustafa-campaigns-play-marvels-luke-cage/
