I really enjoyed Red Hood, Superboy and Teen Titans. I've got nothing bad to say about Lobdell.

This was what made me want to read DC after a childhood of Marvel

I still get the chills when this goes down. Oddly enough this story is also one of the first stories that comes to mind when I think of Superman.

Haven't really made any plans and I'm not sure I'll have money to spend on comics this summer as I'll have to buy a new computer, but I think I have about 2000 pages of Darkness that I haven't read on Comixology, which I would have to read on my iphone which we all know isn't ideal. I'll probably have a look in to what the library has to offer.

Superduck ? Hmm over here it's Taikaviitta which would translate to Magic cape. He's been around a long time though as a sort of Batman like hero.

I didn't think this week's episode was very good at all. It felt EXTREMELY slight and oddly paced, it sort of just seemed like it was a 45 minute setup for the Doctor and Clara's speeches at the end.

I kind of agree with you. There wasn't much substance to this episode they just showed a whole bunch of cool stuff, but the story just left me cold. Although I did tear up with the speeches at the end, but I think I'd even tear up to diaper commercial at the moment so that's not really anything to go by.

He's gone. I miss him so bad, but feel relieved in a way. It was the strangest thing seeing him breathe those last breaths and holding his hand.

It hurts, but he's not in pain anymore.

Wow this discussion has really gone to the next level !

Great episode! Loved it.

Personally I've never been all that concerned about the whole privacy issue, but if my employer actually started asking for my FB and twitter passwords I'd contact a lawyer on the spot and probably give my notice very soon and not because I think I've done anything wrong, but because it's none of their business. I might agree to it if I got the passwords for the accounts of all those people who are asking for them. The way I see it  a company that starts doing this kind of stuff is just asking for a social media backlash.

Thanks again for the support guys ! It really does make me feel better.

My brother's condition is getting steadily worse he was having horrible headaches during the weekend and can't really feel the left side of his body. Thankfully he's not in pain anymore, but is barely conscious anymore and can't really eat or drink at the moment. I spent yesterday watching National Lampoon's Griswald family movies with him, because he knows them by heart. Today I think we'll be watching Pink Panther movies.

different strokes I guess. I just find Anne Hathaway pretty boring. She's good looking, but good looking doesn't always translate to sexy and sexy doesn't translate to good looking. I know Rachel Weisz was up for the part and after seeing her in "The Shape of Things" I thought she would've made a good Catwoman.
My thoughts on Anne Hathaway exactly, although that said she was a wee bit sexy in DKR.

I'm seriously tempted to just get all 300, I've read enough to know I'd like the vast majority of it and I'm never going to get it cheaper.

Right there with you, but I can't swing 300$. That's just too much.

It's been a rough  few weeks as my brother had to go to hospice care as walking started to become a bit too difficult and he started to lose the control of the left side of his body. His mind is starting to go too. His short term memory is really bad and he becomes confused pretty easily and as a result tends to get a bit angry as well. Toughest part was when he had a  short episode of not recognizing me this week, but thankfully that hasn't happened again. It's weird seeing his friends hang out in his room as they make me feel like I don't know my brother completely and it's a weird thought.

I've just got through the Nemo talk, great stuff.  I read it last night to be ready for the show and loved it.

One thing, regarding the French dog with the sword, that's Dogtanian from Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds.

I loved that show when I was a kid.   Did it not make it to the US?

Thank you I was yelling at my phone when Vince said deputy dog !

It might have been a contender if this wasn't the "whole" costume.
PG will have to fly around with a sandwich board with dual cutouts.

What does the back look like? Thinking

Basicly the same, but the triangle is at the top and and the oval on the bottom, bad pun intended.
