I don't think me going on record and writing that I'm not a fan of large, fake and ridiculous-looking breasts is the worst thing I've posted.

And honestly, I see the forum as an extension of the show.  If someone was offended by something that was said, why would they bother reading the episode thread?

I don't want to sound like a prude, and I know that's how I'm coming off.
I just know that we do have some female listeners and posters here at the forum. Some of the people you assume are men because of their screen names are actually women.
I love this community, and I don't want potentially great forum members to be turned off by a discussion in an episode thread about the pros and cons of real and fake boobs. If it were a discussion on politics, religion, race etc. I would feel the same way.

I appreciate everyone's participation here. I know you want this to be as welcoming and comfortable for everyone as I do.

That's all I'm saying.

You're absolutely right, Chris.  This should never be about being a boy's club.  Seriously, I agree 100%.


But when a thread does get slightly out of hand and takes a weird turn, it's always best to blame Vince.

Craziness. Performance artist Ajax Wood who goes by Ardent Vein performed a grizzly ear blistering interpretation of Chapter One from Johnny Ryan‘s graphic novel ‘Prison Pit‘. Most onlookers at the Fantagraphics Bookstore including Johnny Ryan himself seemed thoroughly amused. Then again, a few people quickly cleared the room. It’s safe to say that Ajax had polarized his audience.
