I was surprised that the first episode took place after the micro episodes, so I guess those are important UNLESS they all get chopped into flashback episodes, which I doubt. Maybe the Cap one or whatever but not all of them.

But yeah, so far it is cool, cant wait to watch episode 2 when I get a chance.

This is the magic I missed in Bendis' Avengers run. Classic super hero stuff. It's a lot of fun.

Speaking of fun, an Ant Man who didn't beat his wife=good times.

The Iron Man voice is really trying to immitate Robert Downey Jr. I think he does a decent job.

The only complaint I would have is that episode 1 started and gave no explanation of the Big House and other things and totally assumed watchers had seen the mini episodes. Other than that it was way fun. enjoyed rewatching all the episodes on Sunday.

With the exception of the second half of Iron Man Is Born!, I've watched all seven of the aired episodes.  And I'm diggin' it big time.  Black Panther, Klaw, Man-Ape, Grey Gargoyle, U-Foes, Bobbi Morse, Maria Hill, Kang, Skurge, Graviton, and so much more goodness on top of the players that'll make up the team have me giddy.

I love how they're weaving a new spin on the history of the various universes.  I guess there's no Infinity Formula as it was Jack Fury taking cover behind Cap and his shield while Hydra was attacking.  And I was standing there in awe at the scene with Kang and Ravonna because it looked like the he was drawn by Jack Kirby and she by John Buscema.  Gorgeous.

I can't wait for Wednesday's episode.

ARRGH  I don't have Disney XD.  How do these compare to Justice League Unlimited?

They're very comparable. In fact, this definitely feels like Marvel's version of Justice League, except I would say these early episodes are better than the early Justice League episodes.

I am digging this show big time. With a few exceptions, I've found Marvel's animated presence to be lackluster. Now, it feels like they have every duck in a row, and they're giving us a nice tight version of Marvel's continuity in one show. I like how they're spinning the Marvel Mythos, without making this just a version of the Ultimate Universe. The voice work is great, the animation is great, and the action is really fantastic. Also, they've done the Hulk so well it just warms my heart. Animated Hulk has always been a bit iffy, but this Hulk feels exactly how I want the Hulk to feel.

I cannot wait to dig into the rest of the episodes I have to watch.

I got to watch a few snippets sporadically last night.  Looks pretty cool, and I wish they'd put it on On Demand.  If not, I'll probably end up watching it on DVD later on.

I think I saw a sly reference to Liefield's infamous Cap side view, and there was a Kang and Kodos-like creature in the Red Skull's lab.  Unless there's some Marvel beastie that I'm unfamiliar with (quite possible), I think this was a nod to the Simpsons.

It's pretty good stuff so far... about the only thing that I don't like about these is the godawful theme music for the show.  Yeah, I get why it's there, it's very Disney XD, but still it would've been better with something more just pure symphonic.

But really, it's just a moot complaint, this has probably been my favorite thing from Marvel in the animation arena in quite awhile.

I saw tweets from folks complaining about the theme song so I was expecting the worst, but I didn't find it absolutely terrible.  And by the fourth or fifth time, I was kinda numb to it.

I had to rewind the part where the cabbie's reading the newspaper (Excelsior) and the headline is about a vigilante that punishes his victims.  With the accompanying skull image.

The theme song reminds me very much of the Spectacular Spiderman.  I actually dislike both but they get stuck in your head very easily and WILL NOT LEAVE.  Just typing this, the stupid Spiderman one is now rolling through my noggin.

And the Avengers one, as bad as it is, still beats the 1999 version

I already pointed this out in an earlier thread but will share here as well: in the ant man micro episode, the henchmen he fights are modeled (quite obviously when you look at them) off tge cast from the original predator. Love the fact thT the animators are having such fun with this show. The first two episodes were over the top awesome in my opinion btw.

I dig both theme songs myself. They're corny, but they work.

Just watched two more spotlight episodes, and this show rocks so hard. I love how they're not shying away from building a mythology for this show. Most toons shy away from that stuff early on, but this show seems to have a definite plan for what this season is going to be about.

I love that this show features so much from the MU -- Asgard, the Big House, Kirby Crackle left and right.  It's damned good stuff so far.

Baron Zemo, the Kirby Krackle, the Mad Thinker...I'm so happy kids are getting a chance to enjoy the magic I once did. Not to mention the fact that I'm enjoying it all over again.

I have to say this cartoon made Graviton WAY more formidable than I ever perceived him in the comic.
