Excellent first encounter with The Masters of Evil. I can't believe everything that went on in the episode happened in that one televised half hour.
And the cabbie was back reading his paper. This time with a headline about a school for gifted youngsters.
Love this show.

That one was good. I didn't get the "Baxter Bennet: Replaced by aliens" reference though.

I just started watching this. How awesome is it to have Ant Man be a badass? Hawkeye too, I love how he's not afraid to take on anyone including the Hulk. And I find it funny how no one thinks of Tony as the leader. I love this show so much.

If you've seen every episode and, like me, felt content with the knowledge that Crimson Dynamo joined the Masters of Evil 'sometime' before they attacked the Avengers, then don't bother reading The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes by Christopher Yost and Scott Wegener (and Patrick Scherberger on the second story).
BUT -- if you want to see Tony continue to be a doofus and the Winter Guard AND Crimson Dynamo AND the Masters of Evil AND an awesome tale featuring Ant-Man and Hulk being tested by Mad Thinker... pick up the second issue.
The first issue is about Captain America taking a day off. The second story spotlights Black Panther and Hawkeye.

Just watched the latest episode, "Widow's Sting". Awesome to see Mockingbird and Hawkeye together on screen. And did someone say "Secret Invasion...?"

That's what I was thinking. I was talking with my roommate and we both agree that maybe they are setting up a Secret Invasion/Kree-Skrull War. We just had Captain Mar-Vell tell everyone about the war between the two races. I just hope we get more Mar-Vell in the future.

My big surprise was in the credits, seeing "EG Daily" played Mockingbird. She's been doing animation voices for a good decade or so now, but I first fell in love with her on "The Righteous Apples," a PBS series in the style of 'an afterschool special' where they were like a kind of houseband and she was the singer. It wasn't animated. to the YouTubes.... In other news, who wants to bet (it's a no-brainer, right?) I'm majorly stoked for the animated's Secret Invasion, mainly because there's no Norman Osborn in this series. And lets not forget the fact that we've got Ms. Marvel ready to dive in!! I love the unpeeling of the characters and their origins unfolding for new generations! Yeah, now that the Masters of the Universe arc is done, we gots a new engine to drive through the season!
