Never understood the Daken hate.
I think it started here.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/6OiMboi7wgE&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/6OiMboi7wgE&rel=1</a>

The rain, Don wearing that stupid hat, and once George Lynch left the band...

What?  Daken?  Whoops... my bad.  He's cool.

Laugh if you will, but at the tender age of nine, I owned this album on cassette tape. I thought I was really cool. Now I know better.

I do on the other hand happen to hate the fact that when he heals his tattoos heal with his skin.  :banghead

I think that Amanda Conner's run of Power Girl may be the finest run in comics ever.

Yes

It doesn't get nearly enough praise. Excellent storytelling, excellent story, and a satisfying 12 issues of comics.

I confess that there's not enough comics out there with this much heart

I download most of my comics.  Despite an LCS being 5 mins away.

That felt good to say.

Confessions -

I do not enjoy Bagley's work at all.

I grew up on Larsen & Bagley Spider-man so I enjoy it. Bagley's storytelling is great. Some artists don't have that down these days.

I'll probably lose a bunch of street cred for this one (not that comic book knowledge is gonna keep me from getting killed in the tenderloin), but I don't like the Hernandez Bros.  There, I said it.

I don't like the Punisher.

I think there are tons of people on that boat. However, Ennis, Aaron, and now Rucka just can't seem to stop writing great Punisher stories. I think it's going to be increasingly hard to ignore the runs of those three creators on the character. It's a shallow concept: but that makes for a lot of room for individual takes on the character by writers.

Meanwhile... Hickman's Fantastic Four is the only FF run I've ever really loved!

I've fallen out of favor with Gilbert's stuff. Too much porn & scattershot stoprytelling. It doesn't seem like he's evolved all that much in the past ten years.

Jaime? He's the goodness.

No kicks, or murder threats. You like what you like, if it doesn't do it for you then it doesn't do it for you Thumbs Up

I love this board, and hope I don't get expelled, but I didn't like Orc Stain.  There seemed to be too much

talk of chopping off their junk and then in the back matter they said money was petrified Orc Junk.

It was a bit too out there for me.

I love Jason Aaron, but even he couldn't make me like the Punisher enough to read any more.

Me too!  I love Jason Aaron (Scalped, ghost Rider, Astonishing Spider-Man wolverine), but I just can't buy a Punisher book after Rembender, or Ultimates, or the X-book he's writing.
