bonus confession. I haven't bothered to buy Habibi because my copy of Blankets is sitting right over there unread. It has been just sitting there waiting for me for an embarassingly long time.
Karma for honesty. For the longest time I thought Terry Moore was a chick. I'm just glad I never wrote him a letter like I did Shannon Wheeler thanking "her", and how great it is to have more women in the industry.

I couldn't get through Blankets. It just didn't speak to me and it got donated.

My brother. I started it and put the book down a few pages in. That was shortly after we moved into our house in 2005. Haven't picked it up since.

Blankets was great, but I don't enjoy it as much now as I did the first couple times I read it. Habibi is like classic literature told graphically. I've said it before, but Habibi reads like a John Irving novel.

Also never read Rom or Micronaughts.
Very interested in getting Peter Parker essentials though. I'm told he wrote a lot of good Spider-man/Black Cat stuff.

I hated V for Vendetta... I just wanted it to end! It started out OK, but then got so preachy and muddled in its own details that I just wanted V to die--felt like a chore to read by the end. What's worse is that I'm sympathetic to the message of the book and Alan Moore is probably my favorite writer of all time!

Wow, V is probably my favorite (non ABC) Alan Moore comic.

That's fair slurmo. I didn't like Morrison's JLA I've been meaning to re read my issues. Because I pretty much hated it. I think I may have stuck til about issue 8. I could be WAY wrong on it, but I remember disliking it.

I don't like Morrison's X-men Yeah, I don't either. I think there are some really neat ideas, but I couldn't get into it after the initial arc. The art changes didn't help the book at all either. I don't dislike Kordey, but he's no Quietly.

That's fair slurmo. I didn't like Morrison's JLA On JLA, Morrison won me over with the introduction of Auriel, when Aquaman saw a feather and thought it was Katar. I still love that moment.

I tweeted this earlier but I figured I should drop by in here because it's one of my favorite threads. I do not and have never liked Andy or Adam Kubert's artwork. I can't explain why, because I know a ton of people that love their stuff. It just does nothing for me. In fact I'll actively avoid their books. I'm a jerk
