All right, it's time for one of my favourite things of the year: The 3rd Annual 11 O'Clock Comics/Marvel Noise Gift Exchange! People have already been getting excited about this year's exchange, so I thought I'd start up the thread a little earlier and allow more people to get in on the action. So, ladies and gentlemen, let me please briefly explain how everything works.
Everyone who wants to be a part of the exchange, simply reply in this thread with your name and your shipping preference: Domestic/American, or International (there are a lot of us forumites from Canada, the UK, Australia, and even further away who would like to participate, but you don't have to be from "out of town" to ship internationally). I know some people have already signed up in the other thread, but if you could please sign up here as a confirmation then I'll know you're still interested and you can specify your shipping preference.
I'll randomly match people up using only the finest person-matching software available: a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet. Then I'll post the list of givers and give-ees, so you can get in contact with your partner and get their mailing address, some information about what they're into, and things like that. Then you pack up your gift in a box, and send it away to your recipient!
What should you give? Anything you want! Comics are a good suggestion, obviously. You can go out and buy something new if you'd like, but chances are you've got something good on your shelf or in your longboxes (or under your bed) gathering dust: you can pack that up and send it too. If you know that your person likes a particular style of music, or is a fan of a particular fiction series, or loves film noir, or is a big gamer, you can send something like that off, too. If you're an artist you can draw them something; if you're a knitter you can make them a scarf; if you're a chocolatier you can send off fancy delectable treats. It's up to you: whatever you think that person would like.
So to review: post a reply in this thread with your forum name and your shipping preference. Wait for the pairing list to be posted and get in contact with your recipient. Send them something lovely. Feel good about yourself.
I'll be doing the cut-off for this at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Standard Time on Thursday, November 25, so you have three full weeks to sign up. Good luck and have fun!

I'm in.
Domestic or International doesn't matter to me. Although if I am International I plan on including a little piece of Americana in the package.

BobBretall: Domestic/American.
I'll likely be shipping a heavy pile of stuff that would be $$$ to ship outside the US.
