Bryan, it's still in its infancy - bout an hour this morning roughing things out - but I hope to have it done by end of this week, next week at the outside.

Looking good, TurningAsher! I hope we get to see the finished product when it's all done (after bryanb gets it, of course!).
Just as a reminder: it's been a week since I put up the lists. If you haven't contacted your GIVER yet with your address and a sample wish list, please do so as soon as possible. I would like for people to send things off by the beginning of next week to avoid the holiday crush at the post office!

I gave Chris my wishlist which was literally just "surprise me with something other than big 2 super hero stuff"...sometimes it is nice have a super small collection and being new to all of this stuff....oh, and no Regina pile.

I have NO idea what that's like. But I'm sure Chris will hook you up with some good stuff!

Totally agree with teeth on wishing i did not have a Regina pile, but just finished gathering my items. Package should be out tomorrow. Thanks again to Dr. Teeth for not only putting this together, but for some help I needed in figuring this whole thing out with it being my first time.

I think it's no more expensive for me to ship to the UK than it is to the US. In fact, it's often less. Must be because we keep the queen on our money.

Finished ol' Moonie (above) decided to go with a Zip-A-Tone kinda vibe after flipping through my Essential Moonknight for reference.

shipping from Canada to US SUXXXXXXX!!!!! Not as much as shipping US -> Australia sucks. I'd have sent more if the postage was not astronomical. I went with filling the $14 flat-rate envelope with as much stuff as I could.

Maybe next year we can send digital comics to each other. Wouldn't that be nice.

All of this was done digitally using MSPaint's freeware brother Paint.net (originally designed by an intern for an update to Windows that never happened). Image starts off as a scribble until I find a silhouette I like, I fill in black and then draw in details and refine the shape over the top.
Never drawn ol' Moonie before so I had to find some reference to make sure I didn't miss anything... and the Zip-A-Tone is just a fill effect I used in place of color (I actually colored the body first, but after rooting through some Essential Moonknight, the gray scale seemed more graphically relevant tot the character).
Glad you like!
