Requests Please

Hi all

Long time lurker/intermittent poster here.

The Art & Design thread has really inspired me to have a go at a painting.

I used to draw all the time and even went to Art College (Edinburgh) but whilst my friends continued their studies and now work as Art Directors and Designers in trendy London village, I went home and stopped painting. Twelve years and one child and mortgage later I want to start drawing again. But I'm faced with a problem what should I draw?

That's where you come in. I'd really like to have a go at drawing a comic book character but I don't know who or what setting they should be in. So I'm asking for requests. What/who would you like to see?

I can't promise it'll be any good. Artists I liked and emulated at art college were Gerhard Richter, Sigmar Polke, Edward Hopper, Duchamp, Edward Hopper but like I say I haven't drawn in years so it could be terrible.

So like the title said requests please.

To give you a wide range of character shapes and sizes...I'd say The Endless...from a child to a "construction" worker and an androgynous seductress to a walking grey cloud...of course...I'm biased by my love of Sandman...

Other ways to go...JLA, Avengers, etc...

I love seeing Nightcrawler rendered, or Daredevil...

how about a Hopper inspired scene...like Reed working late into the evening in one of his huge Kirbytech laden labs.
