Great month Monsta.  I loved everyone's old... and new takes on their characters.  This month I'm in charge so I'll just cut all of the pomp and circumstance and get right to it.

*******************************************

OK everyone.  I haven't taken the reigns in awhile, but May is gonna' be my month.  I just came back from an awesome weekend at C2E2 (where I bought 2 sets of Copic warm & cool grays and Copic MultiLiner's.  Now... I'm ready to use them.

So here's what we're gonna' do.  We're gonna' draw...

 Hearts HeartsCheesecake Hearts Hearts

That's right fanboys and fangirls, we're doing good girl art in the styles of... and inspired by... such modern masters of the form as

Adam Hughes   Drool

Terry Dodson   Downtown

Arthur Adams I'd Hit It Sign

and Frank Cho  Swooning

Now here's the catch... like any good tease, you have to put spoiler tags on them.  Also, to keep in theme with the art of the tease, there can be NO nudity (This means that you can't show the naughty bits).  Make your drawings as sexy as you can, but keep it within the guidelines.  But most importantly HAVE FUN DRAWING!!

Lastly, I've already said that I believe that this month will set a record for most views in a month  Whistle.  But it would be SUPER COOL if we could knock down the "most pages record" set by the Spidey-villians month too.

*******************************************

HAVE FUN!

If you're new to the thread here's how it works.  We're here to have fun and to sharpen our drawing skills.  All amateurs & professionals are welcome to participate.  If you want to submit a piece of artwork, here are the rules...Number #1) only post characters for the current month's assignment (a little spillover is OK from the previous month)...Number #2) You must be the artist (we're not looking for your original art collection, that's another thread)...& Number #3) (and most importantly) Have fun drawing.

Im with you Franky. I am not an artist by any means but this topic is just to close to my heart to not want to doodle something. Using my new Ipad and my finger I sketched this out. This is the first time I used the program and was a lot of fun messing around with the colors and such.

Awesome!!!!  I love it.  Nice camera angle too.  I never would've thought to put Mike and Raph's backs to the camera, but it tells a story nicely.  The story being..."The $#!t's about to go down!!"

The Foot doesn't stand a chance.

Still a long way from being done.  But; I loved Monsta's postings of his Cap piece last month showing the process.  So for all of you process junkies, you can see my layout below (there's alot more there, but it's in non-photo blue).  I actually plan on inking this one.

Mickey went with "More Mutant Turtle w/less Ninja", so I went, more "Ninja".

Andrew, that's a really awesome layout, can't wait to see the inks.

GJS, I love the big graphic head in the foreground. Neat interpretation.

Classic TMNT, Bryan! I especially like Michelangelo. Nicely done.

Franky and Travis, You guys rock! Its not about lovin what ya draw, its about drawing what ya love. Learnt that in art skool! ;-)

 Thumbs Up

That is radical, tubular, extreme, and every other late 80's slang for 'awesome' that I could throw at it. Great work Magnum!

MAGNUM, that picture is a perfect example why everyone should fear the shred. You can do anything to him and he keeps on coming. It like the end of the 2nd Ninja Turtles movie! lol!  Cheesy

Mickey, major thanks for the props. I can't put my finger on it, but i remember a lot of the art from the 80's Ninja Turtle cartoon doing the same type of shot. Just my Tribute to happy childhood memories.
