Great month Monsta.  I loved everyone's old... and new takes on their characters.  This month I'm in charge so I'll just cut all of the pomp and circumstance and get right to it.

*******************************************

OK everyone.  I haven't taken the reigns in awhile, but May is gonna' be my month.  I just came back from an awesome weekend at C2E2 (where I bought 2 sets of Copic warm & cool grays and Copic MultiLiner's.  Now... I'm ready to use them.

So here's what we're gonna' do.  We're gonna' draw...

 Hearts HeartsCheesecake Hearts Hearts

That's right fanboys and fangirls, we're doing good girl art in the styles of... and inspired by... such modern masters of the form as

Adam Hughes   Drool

Terry Dodson   Downtown

Arthur Adams I'd Hit It Sign

and Frank Cho  Swooning

Now here's the catch... like any good tease, you have to put spoiler tags on them.  Also, to keep in theme with the art of the tease, there can be NO nudity (This means that you can't show the naughty bits).  Make your drawings as sexy as you can, but keep it within the guidelines.  But most importantly HAVE FUN DRAWING!!

Lastly, I've already said that I believe that this month will set a record for most views in a month  Whistle.  But it would be SUPER COOL if we could knock down the "most pages record" set by the Spidey-villians month too.

*******************************************

HAVE FUN!

If you're new to the thread here's how it works.  We're here to have fun and to sharpen our drawing skills.  All amateurs & professionals are welcome to participate.  If you want to submit a piece of artwork, here are the rules...Number #1) only post characters for the current month's assignment (a little spillover is OK from the previous month)...Number #2) You must be the artist (we're not looking for your original art collection, that's another thread)...& Number #3) (and most importantly) Have fun drawing.

Awesome job Tim.  I need to see that picture in person.

I've really let myself be intimidated by all the great art in this thread and punked out of the last couple months.  I'm going to try and do better.

In the spirit of the thread title I'm showing you the page from my sketchbook.  I just was going to show yall the Vulture but I included some rough pencils of Man-Wolf, Mysterio, and the Spot.  Can't wait to see what comes next.

Monsta...That Rhino is awesome, how is it you get all that energy in your drawings??? (taking notes)

Here's a pencil sketch I did tonight. I really like the water soluble graphite pencils. I just got them the other day and I'm lovin' 'em. Gonna do more in them.

That looks like a man in motion. Freaking fantastic.

After Joe Kellys 3 issue Rhino story from a year or two ago I have wanted more Rhino stories in my Spidey.

Monsta why do you always have to rain on my parade.  Between you and JunBob my Rhino is gonna' look like poo.  I may have to draw Will-O-the-Wisp or Swarm just so I don't get any competition.

Also, I'll karma up anyone I see for the next 10 visits if they post a "Big Wheel".   Tongue

I'm no Bobgar but here's a breaktime doodle on my white board.

Funny thing is that I did it at 10:00 and about five guys have commented, "Is that the Vulture?"  Never knew that there were so many closet Spidey fans in the office.

Yeah...I've gotta get over to office depot and get them to scan about 4 pieces in my big 11x17 sketchbook.  I still haven't finished the Rhino and wanted to wait and scan them once it was done.  Maybe I'll finish it tonight.

I kid.

...But not really. I'm still a little bitter about OMD. Cheesy
