Sorry I'm late guys.  A pretty heavy rainstorm put my computer out of commission for awhile, so I gotta do this at work over my lunch break.

As you can see below, Bryan Boles is in charge.

Go get 'em.

*******************************************

EOC TAKES OVER:

My turn again.   Boogie

Remember this thread? http://bullpenbulletinspodcast.com/forum/index.php?topic=16112.0

I dug Mr. Cardenas  idea and was super flattered to be thought of for some truly great characters. So the challenge this month is to do a sketch, page, pitch, comic, whatever you feel like, of one of the suggestions in the thread linked above. If you were not mentioned either pick a character you would love a crack at and go to town on that, or post in the thread, pm me or email me boles297@gmail.com and we will assign one for you.

So go to work, let’s take it over.

*******************************************

HAVE FUN!

If you're new to the thread here's how it works.  We're here to have fun and to sharpen our drawing skills.  All amateurs & professionals are welcome to participate.  If you want to submit a piece of artwork, here are the rules...Number #1) only post characters for the current month's assignment (a little spillover is OK from the previous month)...Number #2) You must be the artist (we're not looking for your original art collection, that's another thread)...& Number #3) (and most importantly) Have fun drawing.

Don't worry, I was just being cheeky.  Kirby did quite a few covers for Marvel in the early/mid 70s.

I think Don Perlin designed Moon Knight but I may be mistaken.

Yeah, I'm with you monsta. I have an idea so I probably will just do one full sized, full commission style piece. Although I'll be a cheat  (like we always do) and post an old one in here when I get a chance. hint: O'Ryan

This is a great Kirby tribute.  I love the eyes especially.
Metron needs a hug.

I agree!!
The month has just started and there are some really great art already!
I'm in a Kirby mood these days, for the past few weeks I've been reading  vol 4 of the collected Jack kirby collector and boy, there is amazing penciled art! I'm looking forward to start on my favorite new god tonight!!
