Great month Monsta.  I loved everyone's old... and new takes on their characters.  This month I'm in charge so I'll just cut all of the pomp and circumstance and get right to it.

*******************************************

OK everyone.  I haven't taken the reigns in awhile, but May is gonna' be my month.  I just came back from an awesome weekend at C2E2 (where I bought 2 sets of Copic warm & cool grays and Copic MultiLiner's.  Now... I'm ready to use them.

So here's what we're gonna' do.  We're gonna' draw...

 Hearts HeartsCheesecake Hearts Hearts

That's right fanboys and fangirls, we're doing good girl art in the styles of... and inspired by... such modern masters of the form as

Adam Hughes   Drool

Terry Dodson   Downtown

Arthur Adams I'd Hit It Sign

and Frank Cho  Swooning

Now here's the catch... like any good tease, you have to put spoiler tags on them.  Also, to keep in theme with the art of the tease, there can be NO nudity (This means that you can't show the naughty bits).  Make your drawings as sexy as you can, but keep it within the guidelines.  But most importantly HAVE FUN DRAWING!!

Lastly, I've already said that I believe that this month will set a record for most views in a month  Whistle.  But it would be SUPER COOL if we could knock down the "most pages record" set by the Spidey-villians month too.

*******************************************

HAVE FUN!

If you're new to the thread here's how it works.  We're here to have fun and to sharpen our drawing skills.  All amateurs & professionals are welcome to participate.  If you want to submit a piece of artwork, here are the rules...Number #1) only post characters for the current month's assignment (a little spillover is OK from the previous month)...Number #2) You must be the artist (we're not looking for your original art collection, that's another thread)...& Number #3) (and most importantly) Have fun drawing.

I would get so much artwork done if we do skype n draw more often. It makes me stay in one place and just draw instead of getting distracted by everything  Yes

Agreed.  It's like sharing a studio with fellow artists without having a studio.

Man, it's been forever since I've contributed here... My compliments to all for all of the great stuff that's been posted.

This has been one of those months that I've really wanted to contribute and I've started a couple of pieces with very rough sketches, but due to the EOC Anthology, I just don't think I'm going to get them finished by the end of the month (but I do have the intention of finishing them at some point, hopefully I'll have the time after the anthology story is completed).

Anyway, again my compliments and here's my rough sketches of Atlas and The Guardian (oh, I so wanted to do a Flippa Dippa piece as well)...

Thank you, sir.

I feel bad I couldn't post sooner.  Technical limitations, difficulties, and time restrictions.  But, yeah.  Thanks!

I didn't want anyone to think I was merely lurking as I was sketching my piece.

I am in awe sir!  You do also realize that when someone posts a brush/pen/art-tool that they love my mind instantly goes to "I should get one and try it out".   No wonder I'm always poor Tongue

Cheers man, love the work and keep it coming!! Cheers

Thank you so much, Eric.  It was great getting the opportunity to hang out with everyone during Skype-n-Draw.  It's a very encouraging atmosphere and I can't wait until the next session.

Man, there's been some BITCHIN' stuff this month! People are really bringing their A-game for Jack's creations. Jun Bob Kim was gracious enough to let me colour up his Kamandi piece. Thanks, Jun Bob! Not Worthy
