Sorry I'm late guys.  A pretty heavy rainstorm put my computer out of commission for awhile, so I gotta do this at work over my lunch break.

As you can see below, Bryan Boles is in charge.

Go get 'em.

*******************************************

EOC TAKES OVER:

My turn again.   Boogie

Remember this thread? http://bullpenbulletinspodcast.com/forum/index.php?topic=16112.0

I dug Mr. Cardenas  idea and was super flattered to be thought of for some truly great characters. So the challenge this month is to do a sketch, page, pitch, comic, whatever you feel like, of one of the suggestions in the thread linked above. If you were not mentioned either pick a character you would love a crack at and go to town on that, or post in the thread, pm me or email me boles297@gmail.com and we will assign one for you.

So go to work, let’s take it over.

*******************************************

HAVE FUN!

If you're new to the thread here's how it works.  We're here to have fun and to sharpen our drawing skills.  All amateurs & professionals are welcome to participate.  If you want to submit a piece of artwork, here are the rules...Number #1) only post characters for the current month's assignment (a little spillover is OK from the previous month)...Number #2) You must be the artist (we're not looking for your original art collection, that's another thread)...& Number #3) (and most importantly) Have fun drawing.

A nice lady on my mail route gave me a Wacom tablet and this is my first creation to close out the EOC December sketch challenge. All digital. Can't wait to get a handle on this.

What a nice lady!
She's a graphic designer, real high-end clients and we talk all the time. I was dropping off her mail and I noticed a giant box in her office. The new Cintiq 24HD. She asked if I knew what it was and I said YES I do! So her giving away an old Wacom was no big deal and I am very thankful.

Almost let a month go by, I think I have done at least one of these a month.  November and Dec have crushed my free time. I am currently living in a camper while we build a house and have no internet yet. Blah blah excuses excuses. (Side note, the ASM panel a day will be back soonish)
So here is mine, Grinch plus a riff on the Frank Miller Wolverine cover:

WOO! looks like some of us straglers have an extra day or so for this month's challenge! No January Challenge up yet!  Thumbs Up

Too bad that the submissions this month fell off a little, due to the holidays no doubt. I did have fun with this theme though.  Thumbs Up

Thanks Gordo  Rock Horns

Hey guys, sorry for the delay!

I sat at my my computer and looked at the topics that have passed through this magnificent thread in the past 12 months,  and the anxiety built. How would I top what has come before? I felt like someone taking over a comic book from the best in the business. And then it hit me. Why not go WITH the best in the business. So here it is, my topic for January is:

CHARACTERS CREATED BY JACK KIRBY AT DC

This is my favourite time of The King's work, and I think the plethora of fantastic characters will make this topic very diverse. The New Gods, The Forever People, The Demon, Kamandi, the list goes on. So please, have some fun with this one. I will be contributing a character for sure!
