Great month Monsta.  I loved everyone's old... and new takes on their characters.  This month I'm in charge so I'll just cut all of the pomp and circumstance and get right to it.

*******************************************

OK everyone.  I haven't taken the reigns in awhile, but May is gonna' be my month.  I just came back from an awesome weekend at C2E2 (where I bought 2 sets of Copic warm & cool grays and Copic MultiLiner's.  Now... I'm ready to use them.

So here's what we're gonna' do.  We're gonna' draw...

 Hearts HeartsCheesecake Hearts Hearts

That's right fanboys and fangirls, we're doing good girl art in the styles of... and inspired by... such modern masters of the form as

Adam Hughes   Drool

Terry Dodson   Downtown

Arthur Adams I'd Hit It Sign

and Frank Cho  Swooning

Now here's the catch... like any good tease, you have to put spoiler tags on them.  Also, to keep in theme with the art of the tease, there can be NO nudity (This means that you can't show the naughty bits).  Make your drawings as sexy as you can, but keep it within the guidelines.  But most importantly HAVE FUN DRAWING!!

Lastly, I've already said that I believe that this month will set a record for most views in a month  Whistle.  But it would be SUPER COOL if we could knock down the "most pages record" set by the Spidey-villians month too.

*******************************************

HAVE FUN!

If you're new to the thread here's how it works.  We're here to have fun and to sharpen our drawing skills.  All amateurs & professionals are welcome to participate.  If you want to submit a piece of artwork, here are the rules...Number #1) only post characters for the current month's assignment (a little spillover is OK from the previous month)...Number #2) You must be the artist (we're not looking for your original art collection, that's another thread)...& Number #3) (and most importantly) Have fun drawing.

Just to show that I'm not a chicken, here is my new under drawing for the Vince challenge. I'm plaining on using water soluble graphite to render the whole thing in a wash. It will be my first time using then, so wish me luck.

Sorry for neglecting the thread, it's been busy around the Bluenote household.

I'm really impressed by how some of the art is looking clean and polished. (DG, Mickey, Ash and Matty)

Then there's others that continue post and produce quality work with traditional tools. (John and Exodus)
Keep it up everyone!

Here's mine from last Feb. Gotham City Sirens. I figured I remember doing a Poison Ivy then, so I banged one out real quick to cover that month. (I really need to draw more women though, had to scan Google Images of Adam Hughes to get a firm grip on the female anatomy) ((All puns intended))
