Great month Monsta.  I loved everyone's old... and new takes on their characters.  This month I'm in charge so I'll just cut all of the pomp and circumstance and get right to it.

*******************************************

OK everyone.  I haven't taken the reigns in awhile, but May is gonna' be my month.  I just came back from an awesome weekend at C2E2 (where I bought 2 sets of Copic warm & cool grays and Copic MultiLiner's.  Now... I'm ready to use them.

So here's what we're gonna' do.  We're gonna' draw...

 Hearts HeartsCheesecake Hearts Hearts

That's right fanboys and fangirls, we're doing good girl art in the styles of... and inspired by... such modern masters of the form as

Adam Hughes   Drool

Terry Dodson   Downtown

Arthur Adams I'd Hit It Sign

and Frank Cho  Swooning

Now here's the catch... like any good tease, you have to put spoiler tags on them.  Also, to keep in theme with the art of the tease, there can be NO nudity (This means that you can't show the naughty bits).  Make your drawings as sexy as you can, but keep it within the guidelines.  But most importantly HAVE FUN DRAWING!!

Lastly, I've already said that I believe that this month will set a record for most views in a month  Whistle.  But it would be SUPER COOL if we could knock down the "most pages record" set by the Spidey-villians month too.

*******************************************

HAVE FUN!

If you're new to the thread here's how it works.  We're here to have fun and to sharpen our drawing skills.  All amateurs & professionals are welcome to participate.  If you want to submit a piece of artwork, here are the rules...Number #1) only post characters for the current month's assignment (a little spillover is OK from the previous month)...Number #2) You must be the artist (we're not looking for your original art collection, that's another thread)...& Number #3) (and most importantly) Have fun drawing.

The hits keep on coming!!! I really am loving the outpouring of new art, everyone!

As I've mentioned previously, I am cranking back up on the sequentials for the collaboration project with Steve Bryant. Unfortunately, that is eating up any scraps of time I had left available to me... So forgive me for "cheating a bit" for the Comic Monsters challenge. It is not yet published but eventually would be....  Whistle

Well good afternoon everybody!
Only 9 more days to reach back and find a month that you missed or would like to revisit.

Badartdog, great Kirby designs!

aelfinn, great couples moment!

Timothy, Great drawing! Simple line work with great impact.

JunBobKim, Sirens look great, and so does that design for a genie. Can't wait to see that book when it comes out!

Thanks, Monsta - it's good to be back. Turtles eh? Never read a Turtles comic and was too old for the cartoon, so apols if there's glaring errors in this sketch:

I'm good for tomorrow night for Skype 'N' Draw.  I thought Thursday would be ok, but it will just be me and kids that night. I just don't have the set up downstairs to host. Sorry.

BTW, Badartdog, you're killin' it! Monsta, those pencils are great!

I'm also good for tomorrow night (Thursday may work as well). I get home around 4pm PST and would be available until around 7.30 PST.  What's involved in hosting? I may be able to swing it, but won't be able to commit past that time  Thinking

Got a couple more sketches done...

70's Marvel Toys

Spider-Man Villian

(I need to give due to the Iron Man artist on this one. After google searching the new Doc Ock look, I didn't come up with many hits. This drawing lends itself A LOT to whoever that artist is)
