Ugh, I clearly listen to a freakish amount compared to the rest of you. If you have an iPod, start listening to your talk podcast at 2xs speed. It's a little off putting at first, but you get used to it really quick, and you can listen to twice as many podcasts in half the time. It's great. It's really opened up my podcast listening opportunities.

Non Comics After Hours The Heidi and Frank Show
I listen to the live feed when I can, but I can't bring myself to pay for a show that I've been listening to for free for 10 years or so (aka I miss Frosty, you need a straight man to contrast these two)

I think Eric is a good balance he's Frosty light.

yeah he's filled in the roll slightly, he's still not 100% a cohost. Don't get me wrong, I still listen, but I don't pay. If I see the show improving I'll pay up.

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History This American Life
Hey 1-up I listen to these two as well. This American life can be a bit hit or miss sometimes but when it's good it's very good. A life well wasted is pretty good as well, has the same feel as this American life but with a video game theme. I also listen to the Hamish and Andy podcast. Anyone after a daily laugh I urge you to check it out. Comes out daily and gos for around 30 minutes. It's flat out hilarious.

Around Comics- The first comics podcast I ever listenened to. I only listened to EOC because of Chris' pimping his other show DC Comics Podcast- Makes me feel like I went to San Diego ifanboy- great guests/ keeps me up to date on what good new stuff is out there. inkstuds- I've not heard of all of the creators interviewed but fascinating stuff Jay and Silent Bob Get Old- I like Jay and Silent Bob. Sorry Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo's Film Reviews- Podcasted from a BBC radio show, a brilliant analysis of films. NPR: Live Concerts from All Songs Considered- they have an awesome back catalogue (Animal Collective. Ray Davies. Sonic Youth, Tom waits, Dinosaur Jr.) but recently not been grabbing me. Panel Borders- As a Brit, it's kind of strange that this is the only British comic book podcast I listen to. They recently had a fantastic interview with Becky Cloonan Sidebar- Fantastic interview with a huge variety of artists (as mentioned below)- the Trevor Von Eden interview was heartbreaking. Splash Page Podcast- Tim Callahan (Grant Morrison- The Early Years) and Chad Nevett (CBR reviewer) bounce all over the comics universe (and they love Morrison- which makes it a shoe in for me). Last week, they had an amazing 3.5 hot Joe Casey interbiew last week) Word Balloon (Depending on the creator featured) 11 O'Clock Comics- Of course. Which I listen to on the bus (takes an hour) and while cooking- (podcasts and cooking go together like fish and chips ).

Not really. They just sound like they are talking fast and not taking a lot of space between words. When I listen to some of the same podcasts at 1x, it sounds like they are drunk and are slurring their words a bit. Also, if you listen to music podcasts, most rock music sounds like punk rock (something done by GenX as opposed to Sex Pistols).

Around Comics
Astronomy Cast
The Atheist Experience
Awesomed By Comics
The Chronic Rift - Various "nerdy" topics
Chuck vs The Podcast - TV show Chuck
The Crankcast
Gleeful - A Glee podcast
iFanboy POW
Infinite Monkey Cage -Science and comedy blend.
Legion of Substitute Podcasters - Love listening to guys who love the Legion as much as me.
Matinee Idles - Great show, although I tend to ge behind when they do a flick I'm not into.
MonsterTalk - A skeptical look as "monstes" from Bigfoot to Nessie and beyond
Murmur.com - A more general media podcast from the iFanboy guys and their extended staff. I notice this hasn't updated in 4 months. Maybe dead?
Nerdlocker - Local Vegas videocast from some local Vegas nerds.
The Non Prophets - Current events commentary from the Atheist Community of Austin
Raging Bullets - Love this show, but I'm soooo far behind. And with their 147 hour shows it's getting intimidating.
Sara and Aimee do Glee!
The Skeptics Guide to the Universe
Trekcast
11 o'Clock Comics
Add in Word Balloon when there's a guest I like.

11o'C
House to Astonish (surprised this wasn't mentioned more upthread)
Awesomed by Comics
HBO's Real Time (Bill Maher) (They stopped airing the show here so this is pretty much the only way I can get my dose of politics US style)
Creative Screenwriting Magazine (depending on the movie - it's interviews with the screenwriters of usually recent releases)
I tried Q!PAW but it seemed like the hosts were trying too hard to be funny. Tried Wordballoon because I quite liked when John used to be on AC, but I hate hate HATE listening to people talking through phone handsets and each one I listened to seemed to be like that - are any of them recorded in the flesh? Same applies for when 11o'C has a guest talking down the phone. Can't stand it!)
I get CGS whenever they have Uncle Sal on - funniest ever.

I just went back thru five pages of this thread and found 17 new podcasts to listen to. That's great, because I stand in front of a CNC machine 8 hrs a night. Luckily where I work they let us listen to our iPods. I can burn thru podcast pretty quick. Thanks everyone.

tony kornhieser -5 times a week. get the wtem version not the espn version. ive listened to this radio show for about 10 years in various forms. if you like pti, you should be listening to this. if you like a great show listen to this. not dumb sport talk.
bs report- 3 times a week. letterman to kornhiesers carson. someday he will replace kornhieser on pti. maybe i overrate it because he shares my love for basketball and the celtics adam corrolla- 3-4 times a week. you get inside baseball on la plus unfiltered thought. you have to give dap to a guy basically working for free greg fitzsimmons maybe a little to much energy, but comics riffing with comics is what made jim bruers surius radio show one of the greatest radio show layed down. 11 o clock once a week. 4 distinct voices. and for the record only one of then is an elitest. a four person podcast is tailor made for comics because you get a fair lay of the land. they hardly ever talk over each over until the final hour. 300 hundred comics chart every month. it would be narrow minded to bring in four voice of similar tone. my favorite comic podcast. ifanboy pick of the week once a week. i listen only to the pick of the week and i watch the video show. its a drive in to work on monday tradition. while i dont read single issues that much anymore its good to know what to look for and my mind can call back to what was good that week. awsomed by comics once a week. ive tryed a few comic podcast and there are alot of hippster laughing at lame inside jokes that arent funny for the first five minutes show. but awsomed tempers that. its alot like ifanboy pick of the week. moves fast and while i wont read those comics in a timely manner i will call back to the podcast when i get to them.
