Indeed. Manning has chosen the Broncos.
Pretty exciting stuff, particularly as a NFC guy.
The Broncos are also going to shop Tebow immediately, which gets VERY interesting. Will some team like Jacksonville or Miami fall in love with Tebowmania? Will they look past his significant flaws and good luck and see the marketing dollars of bringing back a hometown hero? Or will Tebow have to go somewhere as the clear #2 and protege after doing so much in Denver this year?

I'm actually really surprised he didn't go to SF (my initial pick was Arizona). Considering how close SF is to a championship it would make more sense in my mind to go to the 49ers. Smith was talking to Miami yesterday... If he goes to the Dolphins the 49ers will be dealt a pretty tough blow. The Tiki

The Tiki I think Smith was using Miami for leverage, but will quickly sign the deal he turned down a few weeks ago with SF now. I think Miami is the one left holding the bag. Which is hilarious.

Whom in the NFL would be willing to change their offensive scheme to compensate for Tebow? I don't know of too many teams that have an offense that would be a good fit for Tebow.
Jacksonville?

Oh well, wrong again As for Tebow. Hows about Miami? He is a Florida boy and they did give him a real nice reception when the Broncos played there last season. It's something I think Ross would do just put bums on seats.

WCO? The more my mind wanders I am curious if the Randy Moss signing may have scared Manning off. Sure Peyton would be professional but would he want to deal with Moss' prima donna moments? Reports are still stating that the 49ers are interested in Mike Wallace (they definitely have the scratch). I would be curious if all these off season signings/trades have played into the Steelers' gambling hand and they actually might be able to sign him to a cheaper 1 year tender? If that does work out in their favor, they are gonna have an even bigger problem next year when not only Wallace but Brown and Sanders are up for new contracts... Ouch. This may be an all in year for the Black and Gold. the Tiki

Tebow's biggest advantage is his drawing power, for this, I can see Miami signing him. Philbin has to be biting his nails, hoping he DOESN'T get Tebow, though.

John Clayton reporting New England is interested in Tebow, as a Pats fan can I just say HELLS NO. Unless he is willing to come in, not do any appearances, just keep his mouth shut, and convert to running back, I have zero interest in Tebow. Personally I've always thought Jacksonville was the best landing spot only because he'd be a marketing tool more than a football player, and they have no other options at QB so it's not like they're missing out by starting him.
Re: Alex Smith FWIW Peter King just tweeted he's serious about going to Miami if they are interested. Let's see how motivated Moss is to come out and play and be the good boy when he's got no one to throw him the ball, the 49ers could be in really rough shape this season.

FWIW Denver was a 50-1 favorite to win the Superbowl... After the Manning signing this afternoon, Denver shot to a 12-1 favorite (only New England, New Orleans and Green Bay had better odds). The Tiki
