nfl lockout has from the beginning been the most contrived and over blown story in recent memory. well aside from any soccer story. the only good thing that happened this summer in football was brandon merriweathers rap.

pick a thread, look for a jacko post and like clockwork you will find a contrarian, negative comment just oozing for a flame war.

quite the life.

So glad to see Albert gone from the Redskins. Some quality pick ups on the defense,and loaded at wr now.

I'm ready for some football.

Pats pick up Haynesworth for pocket change and no money guaranteed in what has to be the best no risk high reward deal I've ever seen, than go out and get Ochocinco who has wanted to play for a Belichick for a while and will be motivated, also for relatively cheap, all of this and I finally finished the bar exam! Hell of a day up here in New England.

IMHO

Ochocinco = good move
Haynesworth = bad move

Time for my annual but mercifully brief Buffalo Bills whine.

The day Ochocinco, Reggie Bush, Hasselbeck, and more change jerseys, the Bills make news by signing Tyler Thigpen.   Huh?

That's right, now we got Ryan Fitzpatrick, Thigpen, plus Brad Smith to run the Wildcat option.
I live in hope, but when your team shares the current longest playoff drought with the Detroit freakin' Lions (no disrespect to any Lions fans, of course), you might hope for better.

Here endeth the whine.

fat albert season last year had more to do with shanny just being a dick to him. he went out of him way to treat haynesworth badly. shanny was on a major power trip last year. im starting to creep into the camp that the shannys one of the most overrated coach ever.

ablert is a toad, but the patriots gave up next to nothing to get him and can wash their hands of him pretty quickly if need be. they are full of leaders and they wont hesitate to drop him fast.

No offense to Chris Campbell (or my dad), but Sidney Rice will quickly learn this year that money isn't everything.  The Seahawks are where decent wide receivers go to die.  Didn't Rice do any homework before he signed there?  Did he think he was escaping Tavaris Jackson?

I agree on the Shannahan gripe. I do think he is a dick. Now is when we see if he is a great Coach. Can he rebuild this team and when a championship? I hope so. If not maybe we can be in the running for Andrew Luck next year. Boogie

If it wasn't for the fact that the team has nothing tied up in him and can drop him at no cost I would agree with you Tiki, but there is literally no risk and I think (hope) he will recognize that if he gets cut here, no one will be willing to touch him.

Thanks a lot man, it's been a slog but I'm just thrilled to be done with it, now here's to hoping I pass and don't have to do it again lol.

The plan is to go into Family law, I'm one of those stupid optimists who thinks he might actually be able to help someone during a bad time.

The Tiki Freaky Tiki

Any time Tiki, always happy to help out someone from the boards, we're gonna have to actually meet up one of these days seeing as how we live probably less than 15 minutes from one another.  Unfortunately they take forever with the results so I won't know until some time towards the end of October.

Well I'm on good terms with my family. This world needs all the good people we can get. Good luck with your new career.

Thanks man! Have some Karma!

Damn! Can't believe Philly got Nnamdi. That's gonna be a hard backfield to throw against.

Guess the Skins are just going to have to run,run,run the ball on Philly.

Damn.
