So the Buccaneers are now the only team without a head coach, i'm at the point where i think they have no idea what they are doing. If i have suffer through having Mike Sherman coach the Bucs i'm not sure my fridge can hold enough beer to get me through a game.
They really seem set on going in the opposite direction, meaning an older, experienced disciplinarian. They really thought they had Chip Kelly locked up, but he had a change of heart in the final minutes of culminating the deal.

The chip kelly thing was strange, I assumed he was jumping ship because of potential NCAA sanctions. I Guess Phil Knight had a quiet word with Chip overnight. Greg Schiano strikes me as a strange hire but I didnt love any of the candidates anyway, unless the Glazers start spending some money and soon we will be back here in 3 years looking for another coach who ever they give the job to this time

Schiano is a very strange hire. You never know, he could be the bomb (Belichick likes him), but I don't like the profile. He is not only a college head coach, but he's a college head coach that never attained ultimate success in the NCAA. I'm struggling to think of a proxy who had material success in the NFL.

I'm a giant big east fan. but if you can't get a conference championship in the current big east, you don't deserve a job in the nfl.

As a Lions fans, anytime you're going into an offseason/draft and your main concern is possibly a center or guard (not saying we don't need some comp at LB and DB) it's an upgrade. I've been seeing mocks where Lions fans are hating missing out on a center = kind of alright.

Well, a few years ago the St. Louis Cardinals scooped up a bunch of Steelers coaches... It now looks like the new Indianapolis regime is doing the same thing. The Tiki

Well it looks like the Colts are only getting Arians as O.C. Butler has decided to stay as the Asst. D.C. until Dick LeBeau decides to retire. I assume he now has that in writing. the Tiki

i would've said the same thing before the season, but his "a football life", he's got his josh poo back, the fact that he can make the 2007 season right, and his downright out of characters behavoir this super bowl week make me think he might not hang around much longer.

I'll give you mad props if it happens. I will say I've been REALLY happy to see the way he's comported himself. He's been hilarious, and even wore a pimpin suit. It's like he's finally comfortable in his own skin after 7 trips to the Super Bowl.

Finally!!! Good old' Dirt Dawson made it in. As an added bonus a second STEELER made it in, Jack Butler made it in as well! Though he is well before my time, my Pap used to rave about him and would talk about seeing him play at old Forbes Field. 2 more of the Black and Gold in the Hall... Tis a good day. The Tiki

Harbaugh…coach of the year! I won't lie…I had my reservations about Harbaugh, mostly cause of Nolan and Singletary (which left the fan base pretty distraught), distraught doesn't even do those scenarios justice. But man, that guy killed it this year and I had a hell of a lot of fun watching the season unfold.

Awesome super bowl!
I hope the media leaves Eli alone after this one (can't believe they brought his brother up when he was talking during the trophy ceremony…assholes), but seriously, leave the guy alone…he did a man's fucking job!

As a Colts fan I am really glad the Patriots didn't win one on our field. As a Manning fan this was a great game. Eli is as elite as anybody in the game so all the doubts need to stop now. The guy got beat to death against the Niners and was hit a bunch tonight. He had 0 interceptions. And again he made a huge throw on a game winning drive in a Super Bowl. The Giants have all the pieces to do it again soon.

Giants games are often crazy exciting, Pats games the same....put 'em together and the result is always downright thrilling!
I'm glad the bad PI no call didn't totally effect the outcome.
SUPER BOWL CHAMPS! ...so earned it this year, too, having a really tough schedule and then a hard road to the Super Bowl victory.....awesome!
