How do you pronounce "tears"? Does it rhyme with "beers" or "bears"?

Haven't we learned anything from my clone saga hate? Maybe it's my monitor but the colours looks weird in that panel too.

Why you gotta hate?
Speaking of hate, I really don't hate the Ben Reily era costume. Sure the classic is always best, but I don't mind looking at this one.

I think it's a nice update. It's also different enough that another Spider-character could use it. It's an improvement over what Ben was wearing previously as the Scarlet Spider.

Well said. I agree. Do you guys remember the fan reaction (to the new costume) at the time? I wasn't really in tune with the larger comic community, so I have no idea.

I wasn't in tune either but my cousin was and he said a lot of people lost their mind.

I was reading at the time but don't really recall. It was changing Spider-Man's costume so I'm sure there was outrage. There was outrage over everything in this era so I may have just blocked it out because in the grand scheme of things this was rather minor.

I was out of comics at the time. (College & music * taking all my money.) So I missed that, but I remember the black costume being revealed in Marvel Age. Note the "Venom" look, but with red logo & hand squares. I wonder why they went with all white accents instead of the red. * & women & booze.
