Looks good to me... I'm more of a "grownup" Parker guy though so I wish it would have just been a spider-man 4.

That hair's a little hard to take, but he seems like a fine actor, so I'm sure it'll all pan out.

Boo to them not filming down the block from where I grew up, and my parents still live. That's where they filmed the first three..on location in Forest Hills. Garfield strikes me as a better Parker, but I can't judge yet. I'm sort of down with super hero movies anyway hah.

Initially I wasn't thrilled to hear Stone was playing Gwen (just not the biggest fan of the actress), but she looks great in the pics I've seen.

Having just watched Easy A, I'm all over the Emma Stone hype train Easy A was a great flick, and I'm totally cool with Emma as Gwen. However, I don't know how I'm going to feel about Andrew Garfield. He looks way too much like a guy I've had the displeasure of working with at two separate jobs and I don't know if I'm going to be able to get past that.

Cera: I'm the Same Guy In Every Movie. Not to single you out, but I will never understand this statement. Sure its absolutley true, but I'd say it's true of 99% of all popular actors. Even some of the best actors play the same characters all the time. Here are a few big stars at random. I'll use the alphabet as a basis to prove my randomness. Arnold Schwarzenegger Ben Stiller Tom Cruise Robert DeNiro Clint Eastwod I could go to Z if I wanted to. Obviously there are slight exceptions, but for the most part these guys play the same character every time, and people abuse Cera for doing the same thing? I don't consider myself a Cera fan at all, but the same guy in ever movie statement just confuses me sometimes. Hollywood's been dong that since before we all were born. They'll be doing that long after we're dead.

I COMPLETELY agree. This "Cera plays the same character in every movie" is turning into one of those internet memes that everyone repeats and somehow it becomes fact. But it's pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Your examples are spot-on and you're absolutely right. There are a HANDFUL of truly diverse actors in Hollywood (Clooney, Downey Jr., Oldman) and they're great, but it doesn't make the overwhelming majority of actors shit because they find their niche and roll with it. Isn't that what casting is all about - picking the actor who you think fits your story's character? I don't get the Cera hate out there. I think nerds are just bitter because he's a guy who made good on his nerdiness that isn't them.
