Its going to be Ultimate Spider-man. Hence why Sally Field is playing Aunt May. Ultimate Aunt May is not Jessica Tandy, which is how 616 has protrayed her for 40 years.

Ugh, is that a joke?! It's a good casting move. Why can't Aunt may be a little younger? Besides, Sally Field is basically playing the exact same character in Brothers and Sisters.

Guess I'm just not a Sally Field fan. Her casting is the equivalent of Anthony Hopkins in Thor to me.

Am I the only one that got a Ben Reilly vibe from the costume?

I sort of thought Punisher looking at the costume. But it looks good and we'll see how it comes together. But in all truth I would prefer the organic web shooters. Makes more sense to me.

That pic looks pretty awesome.
I like that they are going with web shooters; we had three movies with organic ones, this time we get to see something different.

Definitely got the Ben Reily vibe... which is good, because of all the reworks they could have done to distance it from the first few movies, that feels like the most worthy design to mimic.

new pic. i know its going to be lit better in the movie, but its a more complete view of the costume. again, remember that they'll still run this through computers to add lighting effects and whatnot. that said, i'm not so hot about the stripe along the leg or the missing "belt". -mike
