Dropped
-------
- Ultimate Comics Avengers: Unless Frank Cho's doing the artwork, way too much to pay for what I'm getting.
- Adventure Comics: The stories during the 'younger years' just don't do it for me, but the 'Legion of Super-Heroes' series does (what the hell?).
- Green Hornet Year One: I started off reading them all the 'Hornet' series, got down to just this one, Now I'm done with this one too.

Added
-------
- Guarding The Globe
- Ultimate Comics Thor

wow, too true. There's no reason why one should be better than the other. I'm too much of a LOSH to let adventure go (for now). A sign of hope was issue 519 which was pretty good. Maybe because of Eduardo Panisica's pencils, the kids look like...kids.  Jive

Dropping all $3.99 books from the Big 2 - Indy's still welcome but they better deliver the goods or they are gonzo.

Prime's a mini.  You can't ride it out?

Was going to, but finding I just don't care.  Story just isn't doing anything for me and Thor is one of my least liked characters ever. Might pick it up on the cheap later.

I agree that Eduardo Panisica's pencils on 519 were a vast improvement over Kevin Sharpe's. One thing to note storywise is that Adventure will be switching over to the current Legion timeline with December's #521. I believe 521 and 522 will pick up the whole Green Lantern plot from the main Legion book. After that, Adventure will be home to the Legion Academy stories, also set at the same 'time' as the main Legion book. That news coupled with both Legion titles dropping to $2.99 is enough to keep me on board for a while. I'm really liking what Levitz is doing with the Legion, having never read any other Legion stories other than the backups in Geoff John's relaunch of Adventure.

I'm thinking of dropping all my Marvel floppies. They do a pretty good job of getting the trades out quickly. I really don't think I'll be missing too much.

Damn you DC!!

If this is true............... I'll be back reading Adventure Comics.  It'll be cheaper and I'll be reading the era I want the Legion in.

I'm pretty sure I'm done with Avengers. And Iron Man needs to pull it's socks up, or it goes the way Captain America did. Will be picking up more Batman books once the new stuff starts, and I started getting Hulk with Hardman art for the art, but love the story too!

Drop:
Avengers - enjoying the story/art, but I need to get rid of these 3.99 titles. They're killing me.
Wonder Woman

Add:
Superboy - Jeff Lemire, 'nuff said  Hearts
Detective Comics - Snyder's work on American Vampire has been excellent, and I'm looking forward to Jock on art. Should be a fun time.

These two adds also warm my DC fanboy heart because I'll finally be reading a Superman and Batman title. concurrently for the first time since last year when I dropped New Krypton (lost steam) and Batman and Robin (HC waiting because it's awesome).

Damn you DC!!

Here's a 'what the hell'.

Going through Previews to order for January, and the listing for 'Guarding the Globe (Image)' has it down as "As the hit miniseries comes to it's conclusion".  I thought this was an 'ongoing'?   So far, the series has been pretty damn good (only 2 issues so far though), and it was the place I could get my 'Brit' fix and eventually the 'Astounding Wolf-Man'.

Disappoinated if true.

Add:
Detective Comics: Snyder and Jock. Dick as Batman. Nuff said.
Teen Titans: Checked out the first issue of Krul and Scott's run. I really dug it so its on the pull list.
Batman Inc.: Will give Morrison a shot.

Drop: Invincible Iron-man- I buy this collected. I can't justify double dipping on a $3.99 book.

Agreed on Superboy. Really good stuff right there. I need to add it. I may have to check out Detective. Jock is always awesome and I know people are really digging Snyder's American Vampire work (though I have yet to check it out myself).

Add: Avengers: The Children's Crusade.

The title sounds like a charity fundraiser,
but it's been a great adventure steeped in the Marvel U.
The argument between Quicksilver & Magneto in #3 made it a done deal.

It should be called House of M:Young Avengers or something.
