On the Fence: Fury Max (probably in Trade), The Massive (I always think I like Brian Wood more than I actually Do), Brilliant (purchased the first 2 issues, but haven't preordered the rest. Not sure if I will seek them out or not), Justice League (will this book ever be the book I want it to be? Mostly likely No.)

Skipping unless some thing changes: Earth 2 (I canceled my orders when I saw the cover for issue 2), Worlds Finest. I think I am going to something I haven't done since I started reading DC, avoid Earth 2. It makes me feel dead inside not to read those books.

add:  a bunch of miniseries, night of 1000 wolves, alabaster: wolves, john carter gods of mars, rebel blood, added some stuff in advance of release:  revival, punk rock jesus, the cape 1969, atomic robo: she devils, a few of the before watchmen books, justice league dark (with lemire).

drop:  i, vampire, resurrection man, with all those adds i felt like i had to trim a few things, was still enjoying both of those books, but wasn't loving them.

Avengers/New Avengers/Secret Avengers - I'll still read some of these from time to time, but I'm going digital.  No more being obligated to buy this stuff off a pull list.
X-Men/Astonishing X-Men/X-Men Legacy/X-Factor - Like with the Avengers titles, I'll still get them digitally sometimes, but screw being obligated to them.  Dropping Legacy is kinda a crossing of the Rubicon b/c I have all the issues of that series.  I feel very fresh and clean to have that "obligation" lifted.

One of the guys at my LCS loves this book,
but I dropped it, too.  I loved the text pieces about Poe,
but when they stopped that I wasn't into the rest of it
enough to continue.

I handed the LCS guy the trade for Last of the Innocent.
I wonder how he's going to feel about Fatale after that.

To each their own, I guess.  I love Sean Phillips, but Fatale really does put to lie that old saying, "I'd buy it if he was drawing the phone book."

i just love how pulpy and hard boiled it is.  it's not just crime, it's actual noir, AND it's got cults and monsters.

It's okay. People should read what they like. It's like legion of daves said and other podcasts have said it better then me. It's the combining of pulp with other genres. This time horror. It's that it can be a longer story than a Criminal arc. It can be more complex. it's the different time periods. It's the twisting of the Femme Fatale idea.
