issue 17 just came out like two weeks ago.
thrasher’s hidden agenda was that he was building a time machine so that he could go back and prevent the stamford incident from ever happening, thus saving his brother and preventing the civil war. needless to say, things didn’t go as planned and the new warriors are stuck in a future where an army of iron men patrol the streets enforcing the registration act.

Ok here goes. And understand that this Marvel boy doesnt drop titles lightly. Dropping: Uncanny X-men, Wolverine, Final Crisis(main title), and thanks to Marvel taking apart the Ultimate Universe Ultimate FF and Ultimate Xmen will of course be going in Feb. Then bring on JLA, Green Lantern, Wizard of Oz and Locke and Key.

And I think that it's the perfect complement to the the main GL book.

Wow, thats scary!! I re-read Recharge a few nights ago but I'm terrible for jumping straight in so I'm gonna go back to #1 and get there slowly but surley. I did that with GL this year. I had the first 10 issues unread since it came out and only picked them up after the corps wars was over. eBay helped me out and I'm all caught up. Thanks for the heads-up!! Oz will get bought in HC but I just cant wait. Skottie is my boy!! Spiderclan was a big book for me when I got back into comics and now this world he's creating is just too lush for me to wait for. The first pull away pannel when she arrives in Oz I just want to swim in! His Scarecrow is just AWESOME!!! Never enough Geoff and Skottie love.

I was going to wait on the Oz HC as well. But I couldn't resist. A-MA-ZING!
I'll still buy the HC, but I might give it to my wife to put in the classroom.

I read through #1 with my 5 year old son and he loved it. Apart from the amazing art and really digestable writting, he flipped over the silver slippers instead of the ruby ones. He only knows the movie so that was a big deal for him. Does anyone know if they were silver in the original books? I'm calling you out Katers.

Dropped Trinity (but might give in again and read what I missed in trade). I did that. but now I'm getting it in 10 issue chunks. It just seems to be more readable like that.

Dropped those assorted Thor one shots, JLA, JSA when Johns leaves, and Mighty Avengers (I wasn't all that entranced by Bendis's run anyway, so buying it for this long was a mistake).
Added: The boys! Hell yeah this book is awesome. I turned 18 a couple months ago and my LCS owner finally let me buy it!

Dropping New and Mighty Avengers. I'll hang on to JSA after Johns leaves. Picking up the Gi Joe series, Savage Dragon, and BPRD

I've actually added New Avengers. Even though I'm not crazy about the Dark Reign stuff, and the SI stories pushed me away towards the end, I've really enjoyed Bendis writing a team book that actually features a team. That didn't happen a whole hell of a lot during SI or Civil War, but now I'm hoping we can get some adventures.

I've been thinking of adding Invincible and JSA to my pull list, but I still have a lot of catch-up to do.

I've been thinking of adding Invincible and JSA to my pull list, but I still have a lot of catch-up to do. It'll be a good time to get into JSA, new story next month which will be good place to start maybe. Get some Geoff Johns before he finishes up with #26(?) which might give you a good idea of what the rest is like and if it's for you. Books I dropped last week: New Avengers, Buffy, Gigantic, Godland, Hellboy and BPRD. Moving over to trades with Godland, Hellboy and BPRD.
