Yeah!  I can't wait.  It was the best show I went to last year, maybe ever.  Just a love for comics and comic folk.

Zack, who do I talk to about sitting next to Jay Fosgitt?

Sorry man. There was a scheduling conflict with the convention center and we had to push it back, otherwise we would have done May again.

I'm going to try and make it this year. I couldn't last year because it was just too close to C2E2. Now with C2E2 being pushed back a few weeks and Summit City being pushed forward, that should be enough time for me to recoup. I also just can't resist an opportunity to get a Tom Scioli sketch.

Was a great show last year, put on by great folks who absolutely love comics. I expect it will be a grand time once again this time around.

I wish somebody with good organizing skills (I'm looking your way Neesman) could put together some kind of bus trip from Chicago to to Fort Wayne. We can bring deep dish pizza and squirt.
Good times.

The pizza would be more than welcome. But cans of Squirt grow on trees in these parts, so you can save the money you would have spent on that and buy up some art and comics. Wink

I don't think that Chris drinks Squirt straight up.  He needs to mix it with something, if you catch my drift.   Whistle

btw, are you planning anything on Summit City Con Eve?

Tom banged out a killer Wildfire for me in my sketchbook last year.  We were chatting about Godland and the Legion and he was praising Dave Cockrum, so he did a quick sketch for me for free.  He's a super cool guy.

We're hoping that we can make it to Summit City this year, the only thing that makes it iffy is it being Father's Day weekend, so we're playing it by ear.
