Just watched the interview.

So what exactly is the required reading I have to do, to find out what Walt's purpose was and what the numbers were all about?

(Loved the ending, by the way.)

THIS GUY'S theory on LOST reflects (pun intended) my own, though he does a ton more research and dot connecting.  Smiley

That's actually pretty amazing and makes a lot of sense.  I just think they shouldn't have made it so vague.  I'm all for vague but at least narrow it down a bit.

I'm not a football guy will that matter?

Not even a little. There's absolutely a lot of football in it, but that's just setting. It's all about the characters.

The key to understanding LOST is reading The Dark Tower series.

Walt was meant to me very important to the story and then because of the actor's growth spurt they decided to write him out of the show. The writers have mentioned this in interviews which sucks because Walt was one of my favorite characters.

Even though I'm halfway through various "must watch" shows that I'm determined to finish, I've decided to go back and start from S01, E01 of LOST again.  Haven't done a complete re-watch since watching the finale so, eh -- why not?  Whaaaat
