bzar...Welcome, thanks for the artwork. I there's some really interesting pieces. I like the graffiti look on most of them. The first one is really nice. I like that there's a real sense of depth in the image. I doesn't come across flat. Timothy...solid stuff as usual. I just a couple of thoughts. Look close at your perspective in the first panel. He looks like he's too big to walk through the door. Also, I just have a hard time figuring out what's going on in panel 4. It looks like he's checking his wallet and realized she took something, but I'm not quite sure. Thanks for putting your stuff up though, I hope it helps.

Thanks for the reply. I agree the storytelling is unclear.

Thanks. I've never been part of a forum before. And EOC keeps surprising me with just how awesome they are.
Thank u very much for the comment. That painting was tons of fun. As you can probably tell I'm more of a cartoonist rather then a comic book artist. I just started the story for a book though with my cartoonish style being behind it. And I love graffiti. I love what it stands for and how its done. Closest thing to becoming a real super hero lol. U go out at night and become ur alter ego. Writing ur name in impossible spots so everyone knows that that was u but no one really knows who u are lol. I also love what it stands for. That people don't have to be super rich to own the artart it belongs to the whole city and it was free.

Street art is definitely cool. I actually get more of a tattoo influence from your work than straight cartoony (or at least animated cartoony ((is there real terminology for this stuff?))). My favorite piece is the cube angel. The one that Bluenote enjoyed feels almost great to me. The twirly abstract background is cool, but I wish it wasn't in black and red. The black hides those bold outlines and the red draws attention away from the birds and character on the left. If you had went with brighter colors would have made the figures pop more.
Welcome to the forum, and keep up the great work.

I just wanted to bump the thread to keep the conversations going. I want everyone to feel free to post whatever they got if they want others to comment on it. That is all...

This started out as a smudge and I took my black and red india ink and came up with this:

I haven't sketched in like 10 years. Today, I yanked a comic out of my collection and drew the cover. Now I very much feel like going to life drawing. Feedback is appreciated. First I started by drawing sort of the basic blob outline of the rocks and figure. Then I filled it in. Third pass was using the side of a soft pencil to shade. Then I smudged the character's shirt and pants with my finger. Took about 30 minutes.

I think it's a strong composition and a good use of negative space. The falling rocks make me feel like this might be an action shot, but his pose makes him look like he's climbing very assuredly. Not much I'd want to be hypercritical of on a 30 min sketch. I think it looks good, and thank you for adding to the critique thread.

I was thinking os napping pics of my drawings for here but thought about the legal concern. Anyone know about posting drawings of nude modelling sessions on the net?

I love the concept, and the watercolors (I'm assuming). I think the girl looks a lot more realized than the monster. You did a much better job giving her depth with the light hatching and highlights in the coloring.
