i just sorta realized something (TV related)

we're in sort of a TV action/drama golden age.

just this weekend we're getting doctor who, game of thrones, the walking dead finale, orphan black, vikings and spartacus

there's shows that ended (but are returning): suits, banshee, strike back, fallen skies, breaking bad, luther, sons of anarchy

there's  shows that i don't watch (but are popular): mad men, bates motel, american horror story...

... i'm sure i'm missing more stuff.

holy shit! i don't remember a time with that many shows currently airing with quality like that that i'm dying to watch week after week.

what's more, almost none of them are from the big networks. i mean, i watch bones and castle, but i don't mind if i miss an episode or two (or three, or four). the only network drama shows i eagerly watch would be arrow and supernatural.

anyhoo, all i'm sayin' is we live in exciting times, and its nice to appreciate it once in a while.

And *I* just realised that "Vikings" must be a tv show. I've seen it mentioned on twitter and thought people must've been getting into a really great History Channel doco

Sounds like I'll have to hunt down a couple of episodes.
