Anyone else been reading this series? If so, what are your thoughts about there finally being some conflict in the book?

Well I've only read the first 2 issues, but honestly, I've been pretty disappointed with the book. I guess it's pretty much what I expected it to be, but I was kind of hoping for more meat to it.  Undecided Is it worth making it to issue 4?

I'd say it is, but I also really enjoyed the first two. If you're interested in keeping on with the series, I'd say read until #4. That will probably determine whether or not you'll want to keep on with the series.

I like the series.  Happiness or disappointment with this (or any series) has a lot to do with what you expect/want from a comic vs. what it delivers.

I read the stuff on the web first, thought it was charming, was something different from the other 160 comics I'm reading every month, and that's a GOOD thing.

That said, I've not read #4 yet, but I thoroughly enjoyed #1-3.

Cool. It should be right up my wheelhouse, but for some reason, it hasn't clicked for me yet.

i checked this out in the store when #1 came out, because i was genuinely interested.  however, i read the entire issue in about 2 minutes while i was standing there, so i figured it wasn't worth the $4 for the issue and if it turned out to be really great i'd hear about it and could grab the trade.

I haven't read #4 yet, but I really liked the first 2, then liked #3 a little less mostly because it didn't seem to have as much of that happy/smilely soul as the first two.

Ummm....minor point, but all 4 issues of this series have been $2.99, NOT $3.99

And that is fine for you to have as an opinion.  Better to say (accurately) "It's too fast a read for $2.99", than "it's too fast a read for $3.99".

Personally, it takes me about the same time to read Li'l Depressed Boy as it does to read an average issue of Avengers which is, in fact, priced at $3.99.

I thought your last few posts were rubbish, but it's good to see you rounding back into form.

You might not dig the ending of #4 then.
