I had a nice chat with writer Mark Sable about he and Paul Azaceta's new Image book Graveyard of Empires.
I read an advanced copy of it, and I can say with confidence that you don't want to miss it.

I've got it preordered and Paul had all the pages with him at Heroescon a few weeks ago.  Looks pretty nice to me.  I'm looking forward to it!

There was a preview at the end of Chew #27 for this.  It looked good.  I am usually hit or miss with Azaceta's art, for some reason his Spider-Man stuff always seemed a little off to me, but I was digging the vibe of the book from the pages I saw and Image is cranking out some good #1s of books to check out.  I am going to add this to the list and will check out the podcast.

Even though Chris didn't do it, I highly suggest everyone listen to the Cullen Bunn episode, aside from loving his work on the Sixth Gun and the recently read Tooth, he just came across as a good guy and someone who I want to support even more.  Its good to get that glimpse behind the scenes of the creators you only know through name.

After listening to the interview, I emailed my dealer to hook me up tomorrow.
Looking forward to it.
