I retitled this thread since it seems to be page after page of people bitching about the Rick Vietch 9-11 comic.
Since there are LOTS of other Image comics coming out in September, I'm starting a new thread to talk about everything else.

I read Moriarty#1 last night and really enjoyed it. Recommended for fans of Sherlock Holmes style mysteries and getting a lot of bang for your buck (it was 32 pages of story for $2.99 and not a quick read at all.)

So Michael Turner is dead yet I see a cover by him on Witchblade 150.
Either he had a stockpile full of covers or is this a reprint of a classic cover?

I agree. Very good value. I was going to add issue 2 to my order, but now I might just add the trade next month. Quick solicit.

He's like Tupac in that way. Tupac's had more albums released since he died than when he was alive.

I heard Veitch has a Holocaust denial book up next. I don't see the connection. The solicit for The Big Lie has my curiosity piqued. Not sure how I feel about the title of the book, but I'll see how it plays into it. It's a story I'd read regardless, it just happens to use a real world tragedy as opposed to an analog.

I guess it's possible he's using the title ironically. I don't know about Veitch's world view.

Veitch has earned enough credit with me where I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt. I might have to dwell on this before I have to place my order Interview and preview can be found here.

Anything that generates a thoughtful discussion of these topics is a good thing. I've never read anything by Veitch, so if he gets preachy with it, he'll lose me. However, if he asks some poignant, interesting questions about the event, it could be pretty interesting. Make me angry or make me happy...just don't make me dismissive.
